My wife and I were visiting the area and stopped in at Simply Crepes for a late lunch. My wife had the goat cheese and arugula crepe which she loved as absolutely delicious. I had a gluten free egg and sausage buckwheat crepe which was cooked perfectly and really hit the spot. The unlimited Jamaican coffee was very tasty. The extremely nice and efficient waitress made it a perfect experience. I give it 5 out of 5 stars.

My fiancé and I stopped in for lunch while visiting the area and we were so pleasantly surprised by this place!! The food was so incredibly fresh & delicious. I feel like we’re hard critics when it comes to finding good mexican food and we both agreed this was some of the best we’ve ever had. I’m gluten free & all but a few items on their large menu could be made gluten free. They also have a separate fryer for their chips!! The service was a 10/10 as well! We cannot wait to come back the next time we’re in town

After stopping at Wildflower boutique next door, I stopped into Resilience bakery! I am gluten free and have Crohn’s disease so food is always a hit or miss. However, im happy to report that Resilience Bakery is a huge hit. I got the gluten free peanut butter cookie and the gluten free chocolate chip cookie and both were so so good. I will admit, I was more of a fan of the peanut butter than I was the chocolate (just based on consistency) but both were very highly rated on my scale. The kitchen is not dedicated gluten free and some of the gluten free foods are in the same case as gluten containing foods, but they’re kept on the top shelf and the owner is careful to put clean gloves on to handle the gluten free foods. I didn’t have any issues or flares with my Crohn’s after eating the cookies, but I am able to have minimal cross contamination. All in all, this was a great place to snag a snack from! You should definitely head over to wildflowers as well if you’re a jellycat fanatic like myself! They have amazing finds!

We chose this place as we thought it would have great Christmas decorations and lovely ambiance. The decorations were certainly tasteful but not outstanding. The ambiance was lovely as the fireplaces were blazing and the sun was shining in the glassed-in dining section facing the lake, where we sat. I found the food to be fine for the most part but overpriced for the average quality. I asked for a regular coffee but was served an espresso, which was then given to my companion, who was happy to get a double. I then received a tepid cup of coffee with grounds in the bottom, so that was disappointing. We both ordered omelets, which were served with roasted potatoes. The omelets were cooked well, but not fluffy. I had mushrooms and saysage in mine. The mushrooms tasted like they were from a can. The sausage was well-seasoned and tasty. The potatoes were seasoned quite well, but I was hoping for some crispy edges to no avail. My companion wanted dessert, but I avoid gluten and sugar, so there were no suitable choices. My companion asked if I could get a bowl of strawberries with chocolate sauce, and they obliged. I didn't expect very red strawberries this time of year, but these were especially pale and so not as flavorful. One piece seemed to be rotting, so I avoided that. The chocolate sauce was yummy, though, so I judiciously dipped my strawberries in it. We walked around the water-side perimeter of the property after that, which was lovely. However, the boardwalk along the small canal was narrow and made my companion anxious of falling in the canal. We also visited the very small giftshop, but they just had a few hotel insignia items and some children's items. Overall, it's a very lovely place, but the food didn't match up to the quality of the facility.

The lattes were great as was the spicy breakfast bowl. The breakfast sandwich was good but would have been nice not to get the crusty bread end. We will be back before leaving town .Love the fact that there are gluten free options that are delicious.
