We very specifically went to breakfast here because they indicated they had gluten free bread. Ordered breakfast and received GF zucchini bread, with walnuts which I am allergic. That didn't pair well with cold potatoes, bacon and eggs. We unfortunately weren't able to stay. If you are gf, Celiac, please be aware. Teeny tiny coffee.

DAY3- SICK AS A DOG- NOT GF Hobee’s is a fabulous restaurant. But! The Sunnyvale one has failed the gluten-free test. If you are gluten-free by necessity, the Sunnyvale Hobee’s isn’t worth the risk. I ordered poached eggs and gluten free potatoes. The potatoes were obviously cooked on the same grill as pancakes. I’ve been violently ill and in agonizing pain for three days! An obvious gluten reaction. Do the workers think it’s funny to cause people horrible pain and suffering? Are they lazy? Not properly trained? The Mountain View and Palo Alto Hobee’s do extremely well with gluten-free preparation. Try these ones if you’d like to enjoy a gluten-free Hobee’s meal

Good happy hour here! $3 off starters. We ordered Margaritas, the first round was great. The second round the Margs tasted like soap! The wait staff was kind.. she comped the drinks and gave us a new round to make it right. The shrimp tacos and carnitas were good! Street tacos are the only gluten free starters on the menu. Slaw and fried onions on the side (slaw has dairy).
