I love that they have a multitude of gluten free options. Being sensitive to cross contamination, they are wonderful about making sure things are safe for me to eat. They even went over the menu and explained how they could modify it to make it gluten free. They do not have a dedicated fryer yet, so, I couldn't have anything from there, but with so many other options and delicious home fries it was totally fine. They also have gluten free baked goods!
Being gluten and dairy free, they went out of their way to accommodate!!! I had a turkey breast wrap (gf wrap) and home fries!! No butter!! Thank you!!
Great spot! Mike's definitely has that cozy diner feel. Food is always awesome.
I love the all-day breakfast, but I'm glad to know they're now offering gluten free wraps. I hope GF bread and buns are in the future!
I wish I had thought to take pictures, because this place was absolutely phenomenal.
Breakfast Platter, $14... three eggs, toast, bacon, hash browns, and a short stack of fairly huge pancakes. Everything was just about perfect, though I wish they could have gotten the hash browns a tiny bit crispier.
For $8 they have a cinnamon bun French toast, which is this enormous fat cinnamon bun sliced into thirds and then prepared frenchtoast style.
The omelettes are fairly large too.
Only three real gripes. Number one, they do not have a gluten-free bread or toast option. It d/n affect me, but did affect a couple of other people in the group I was with. Number two, a side of corned beef hash was $8. Maybe that's a really huge side, but that's a pretty steep price, an entree price for a side. I ended up not getting it. I would imagine, that had I goten it, it would have been excellent like everything else was. Number three, there's syrup is just regular National brand quote unquote pancake syrup, and while they do offer real maple syrup, it is a $3 upcharge.
But those were relatively minor gripes. The food is great, the service was fantastic, extremely friendly, extremely helpful, and very accommodating of special dietary needs (aside from tbe lack of GF toast) and food allergies, and willing to make reasonable substitutions were possible.
A very good experience. Five people ate more or less like happy pigs for only $81.
One of my favorite places to go Glenville, NY. I am both gluten and dairy intolerant so really do not go out to eat much but not only do they have breakfast all day so I can eat eggs, omelettes, hash browns and the best gluten and dairy free roll I have ever had in any restaurant. Also fish, burgers, etc. They are so accommodating and I find that their staff is knowledgeable about food allergies and dietary restrictions so I don't have to go into a long explanation. Great service and friendly atmosphere. It is really my number one choice and I can actually enjoy going out to eat when we go there. I have added them to my FB page Through Sue's Eyes for those with similar issues as a guide for the best places to go out to eat. Thank you!!
