This place is fantastic! My wife and I are vacationing in Corpus and are so glad that we decided to give Chops and Eggs a shot. The food was amazing, the presentations were beautiful and the staff was on point, friendly and accommodating. The comments about this restaurant being expensive for what you get are crazy! The portions are HUGE! We actually ended up splitting the Chorizo Hash because we didn't think we'd be able to finish an individual meal ourselves when looking at the plates of other tables (and we were glad we chose to split). Those commenting as such are way off base. The tables are tight together, but the way I see it, it just keeps me from having to sit outside on a wait list as they were really busy when we went, but we were able to be seated right away. The staff was quick and meticulous about clearing vacant tables when people left to keep the flow going. And I'm positive if there were any issues with our meal (and there weren't) they would have worked to make it right, then and there (so no need for bad reviews people! Speak up!) this is a nice restaurant with a lot of options for everyone (vegetarians, gluten options, kids etc) and we would definitely eat here again anytime.
We love this place! Great food! Outstanding service! My husband is gluten intolerant and this place can make almost anything gluten free! It’s a Must try!
Friendly staff. They were closing in 20 min. They did not rush us or appear impatient that we were there so close to closing. My son is gluten intolerant, the young man changed gloves and took precautions not to cross contaminate him. It would have been a miserable trip home if he had not.
I have only lived in Corpus for about a year and a half, and I have been searching for a great breakfast restaurant, being a breakfast lover! I have not been impressed at all with any of the places that I have sampled, except this little gem of a place! What a find, I stumbled across! The food is so fresh and flavorful, and the people who own/work there are so lovely and accommodating! They made gluten-free pancakes, special, for my friends who traveled here from out of town, and they tasted amazing! This restaurant is my new fave, and I can't wait to try lunch there, next! I recommend this restaurant to whoever wants a tasty meal and a good experience!
Food, service, atmosphere & bathrooms were all nice, good. What the 33 represents is pretty cool too. Wish I was a beer drinker looking at others with their COLD beers. Please add a few more meals, maybe a beer too, that aren't loaded with gluten, that would certainly bring me there again! Thanks!
