Huge selection of pho, vermicelli and assortment of Chinese and Vietnamese dishes. Pho was hearty despite lacking the flavours of an authentic pho broth. The portion was definitely big enough for us to share (2 pho bowls for 3 females). Sesame chicken was also nice and sweet! The servers were very accommodating and knowledgable given that one of us is gluten free. Some seats have great view of the mountains too!

I've been to Shoku many times since it opened (Banff local), and the service and quality of food is always great. The first time I ordered a sashimi platter, I felt like I was still living in Vancouver. The staff always take my food allergies (gluten, dairy) into consideration because they actually do care. It's the first restaurant I bring friends and family to when they visit. Stefan and his team bring something special the other steak & potatoes restaurants (there are a lot of them) in town can't.
