I emailed them about my allergies and about cross contamination and they emailed back " Hello, we have gluten free options ( the salmon, the tofu and the shrimps), our chicken and our tuna are not gluten free (we use normal soya sauce when preparing them)
They are in the same fridge as you can see when entering our restaurant but there is no other cross contamination. Our staff is prepared to deal with costumers with allergies and prepared to explain when you make your order.
Hope to see you soon :)

Lee was able to answer all our questions around gluten intolerance. She was a wonderful host who knows her job well. The food had excellent flavours and the meal size very good. Would happily visit again for a meal and recommend Thailander to all that have not been there yet.
Expensive compared to most restaurants you will find around Porto but you absolutely get what you pay for. Dishes are organic, gluten free, vegan and fresh. No prepackaged, thrown in a microwave food here. I wish more places existed like this and I will miss it terribly when we move.
I emailed them about my allergies and about cross contamination and they emailed back " Hello Paulina! Thank you for your contact. Even though we offer gluten free options, it’s important to mention that any restaurant that prepares its dishes in the same kitchen as others with gluten has an obligation to warn of the possibility of having allergenic traces. Our team is extremely careful, but since our dishes are all made in the same kitchen that already implies a risk of cross contamination, even if it’s a small one. That’s why we understand it’s extremely important to warn all of our guests, so they are aware of the conditions we work in and then they take the decision of visiting us, or not. Specially because we do not have a separate kitchen, fridge, utensils and instruments to cook the gluten free dishes. Thank you, the Boa-Bao team"
Good portions at good prices. The service is really good, they're very attentive, and they're perfectly versed in cooking 100% gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan dishes. The food is very tasty and spiced, everything you'd expect from this type of restaurant. They also offer takeaway service, so you can simply arrive and take the food home if you leave a request. I also saw other Indians meeting there to eat, so I imagine they make 100% native Indian recipes, which gives me confidence.

We came to get some take away sushi and the place was buzzin’. Better reserve a table for dine-in.
We were happy that they were able to make our choices gluten-free. We had a couple of makis, nigiris and the vegan box, and everything was delicious and very well presented. Would come back.
Waiter very knowledgeable of gluten free options. Also accommodating vegetarian needs in my party- all very clearly marked on menu. Spicy stir fry edamame and vegetarian gyoza for table starters were a hit! Fresh lemonade was great! The waiter introduced us to plum liquor and highly recommend the dessert sake. All made for a lovely dinner and evening out!
Great All You Can Eat Sushi Restaurant. They offer 2 price tiers, with over 90 different items available total. About $12 € and $15€ per person for the buffet. Everything was great good and nicely presented. Many gluten free options available. Indoor and outdoor seating. I would recommend this restaurant.
It was our first time in an Indian restaurant. We went because we wanted to try it and you had very good reviews, it did not disappoint. The waiter gave us very good recommendations and also with exquisite treatment! We ate delicious and also had gluten-free options! Totally recommended!

Fantastic food at great prices. Coeliac friendly offering a full gluten free menu. Favourite meal of my holiday.
A very good sushi restaurant. In the evening we went to the all you can eat restaurant for €15 and had reserved a table. There was a huge selection (also a lot of gluten-free, gluten-free soy sauce, etc.). The waitress was very nice and looked after us very well. The sushi and sangria were really delicious, we will definitely come back next time in Lagos! Very highly recommended.

We ate here last night. The ambiance was so chilled and relaxed. The staff are very friendly and courteous and helpful. We had a large mixed selection of sashimi, sushi, nigiri etc and all freshly prepared and delicious.
I have an allergy to gluten and the staff were extremely helpful, making sure all the food was safe to eat. We had a delicious bottle of wine to accompany the food too. A VERY enjoyable meal indeed. We will return and would highly recommend this restaurant. Thanks to everyone for a pleasant evening.

This restaurant is amazing for food. It has a small interior like a takeaway, but also has outdoor seating. The service from the staff was excellent, especially when we asked about gluten-free options. The food tasted fantastic, especially the veggie dishes. I highly recommend this place if you're in the area.

Excellent restaurant. Suitable for celiacs, they have gluten-free soy sauce. A very positive point on islands that are poorly adapted to food intolerances and diseases.
PERFECT sushi! The rotation menu is quite varied, with many options and also several options for dietary restrictions (such as gluten and lactose intolerance). All the items I ordered were delicious and of high quality. Everything very fresh and well made. The service is very polite and attentive. I highly recommend it and I intend to return!
THIS PLACE IS INCREDIBLE! I have celiac disease so finding gluten free options can be tough. I messaged the restaurant in advance and they said there were a handful of options. I’m so glad I gave it a shot because those options turned out to be the best dinner I’ve had on this island. The miso cod is heavenly. They marinate it for three days and it shows. I fell in love. But what really floored me was the cheesecake. They made a gluten free one just for me, with a meringue base instead of crust. There was pineapple sorbet at the top. I died and went to heaven. And finally, the service was the nicest I’ve ever experienced on this planet. I don’t know what they’re paying their staff but everyone needs a bonus. They seemed happy just to take our plates! It was an overall warm, friendly and delicious experience. I almost cried.
Service was extremely slow for a "street food" menu. I have had food from several other vendors who are much quicker in plating the food. Very few vegetarian choices. Nothing is marked with allergen info (shellfish, nut, gluten, etc.).

This place should have 5 stars. All of the food was so fresh and well-presented. The staff were attentive and polite. I have Coeliac disease and they communicated with the chef to find out what I could and couldn’t eat from the menu. I had the ceviche and traditional sushi platter, my partner had the shrimp tempura, chicken gyoza and Fusion platter. It was all delicious! We would come back in a heartbeat. Don’t be put off by the closed door upon entry- they’re just keeping the place air-conditioned.
Good quality sushi for a fair price at a seaside location in Lido! The service is friendly and also helpful with e.g., allergens (gluten-free options available). During rush time around 20-21 the service might be very slow though and it might take up to 1h to get the main course from ordering.

They had gluten free soy sauce and the staff is well informed about gluten free options.
Two of us are celiacs and the staff did everything they could to serve us glutenfree sushi. Unfortunately, all sauces (incl. soy sauce) contains gluten. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff and food was tasty.
The restaurant itself is idyllic, located right on the beach with a wonderful vibe. Live music and cocktails flowing – absolutely lovely!
I visited with my sister, brother-in-law, and their kids. They enjoyed their meals and had a great time. However, my experience was a little different. To all my friends with allergies out there, be cautious. I can't eat gluten, and there were very few gluten-free options on the menu.
What made me uncomfortable was the conflicting information I received from the staff. One waiter told me my meal was gluten-free, while another said it contained gluten. This inconsistency was concerning. I had to speak directly to the chef to clarify what I could eat.
For those without dietary restrictions, this is a great restaurant. For those with allergies, be sure to double-check your options.
