Absolute winner. I love this place for its exciting and varied menu - gluten free, vegan, spice avoiders, health or meat freaks - we all have plenty of choice and the food is wonderful every time! Coffee is great (200°) and their homemade cakes look amazing (sadly not tried, reluctant gluten dodger). Great for lunchtime too, there plenty of lighter options from their starters menu - they are substantially sized and good for sharing mezze-style. The staff are friendly and cheerful, the atmosphere is unpretentious and the wooden walled decor is inviting and pretty. They are unlicensed, and bring your own booze is welcomed with no corkage fee. Food is very reasonably priced too. Kitchen closes 5-6pm and 9pm. There is nothing not to love about Sarangbang, it's currently my stone cold favourite place to eat in Notts.

Delicious food and great value for money! Our server was very attentive and friendly, and advised us on gluten free dishes. I had the paneer dosa and my friends had the chicken curry and breads. Overall a great experience and we will definitely be back. Thank you!
