My favorite restaurant in Irving or surrounding areas of Dallas. Whether I dine-in or order online pickup the food is always on point. There was only one time when I ordered salmon; it was overcooked. I try to order different entrees and desserts each time. This is by far the best vegan I've had anywhere. This place also offers regular dishes with meat. There are some dishes that are gluten free-Pad Thai. I usually don't care for warm peanut sauces, but very, very, and I mean very delicious. If you visit Dallas and don't mind a 25 minute or so travel, I highly recommend this restaurant. You won't be disappointed. Food for everyone

Very good option for all you can eat sushi. Quality was good and the service was great. They did a really good job with providing gluten-free options and accommodating for that.

We come here at least once a week since they opened. The staff is incredibly friendly and the food is consistently delicious with generous portions for a very fair price. They cater very well to our families food allergies of Egg, Gluten, and Dairy. The staff has our regular orders memorized and make us feel like valued customers. A++ we highly recommend Yummy Thai

I loved my eggplant sushi! Was so grateful they were able to accommodate our gluten free and vegan requests of food. Also enjoyed the shishito peppers, edamame and avocado rolls. The manager, Able was also super nice! We enjoyed talking with him and the service was great when he took care of us! 💚💚💚

The first thing I really liked about Southern Spice is that there is a giant menu spanning an entire wall. On this menu as well as all the paper ones, the food is labeled as gluten free, dairy free, vegan, and nut free respectively. I truly appreciate this level of detail. At lunch time, your order comes out with thali alongside it so you end up with a great deal of food. The funny thing is though such great care is made to tell you what is in the entrees, there is nothing similar for the thali or the tea for that matter. I hope Southern Spice can make this great addition to the menu more consistent in the near future. As it turns out, 3 of the bowls have dairy. The food was, however, quite tasty.
