A big group of long time friends and family ( ranging in age from 28 to 86 )ate lunch yesterday at PBH. and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals.
Fabulous choices: for our group of nine with coeliacs, lactose intolerant, a vegan diet to cater for as well as regular dietary choices.
Service was spot on with the wait staff also having a great sense of humour with our group.
We left as the live entertainment was beginning , which I am sure we all would have enjoyed.
We have eaten at your hotel before and it has always been a memorable occassion.
Staff were friendly and food was ready very quickly. Chips looked amazing but without any salt they were really bland. The fish wasn’t quite cooked through. It was a disappointing meal. Separate gluten free fryer.
My family of 4 had breakfast here on the 12/07/24. My wife and 2 children are coeliac. On 4 occasions when ordering 3 separate meals which consisted of sourdough toast, bacon, eggs and avocado we asked if the bread was was gluten free and 3 different people including the “manger” insisted that the bread was gluten free. When the meals arrived I asked the waiter if the bread was gluten free as it looked like normal sourdough, he insisted it was gluten free. When leaving I asked the “manger” who was rude and dismissive who the bread supplier was because I was keen on buying more because my family enjoyed it. Within one hour of leaving the establishment my wife and children were violently ill with vomiting, diarrhea and sharp stabbing pains/ cramping in the abdomen region.
Great takeaway coffee with great service. Almond lattes were excellent and we had the choc cinnamon cookie which is gluten and dairy free and it was delicious! Would never have known it was gluten and dairy free. Highly recommend. Staff are super lovely, helpful, bright, bubbly and the coffee is excellent.
We were visiting the Peregian Beach area for a week and dropped in to Pizzami early on for their daily happy hour specials (between 4 & 5 pm). So glad we did, the pizzas were perfect and excellent staff. A good range of drinks and food options (not just pizzas), including a gluten free pizza base option.
It was that good we made a promise to ourselves to return again before we left. So on our last evening in the area we dropped back and had a lovely chat to the owners who remembered us from earlier in the week. The attitude of the owners is absolutely spot on, talkative - yet not overbearing, offering suggestions and making sure we weren't in need of anything else. Just genuine people who care about their customers, which then in turn helps their business.
We left feeling like friends and if we ever get back up that way, we will absolutely be dropping in.
Their 'Happy Hour' pizzas are limited to the smaller size and just four types (from memory), but they are great value and coupled with another regular large pizza it was adequate for two of us. Attached is a photo of their small Pepperoni and large New Orleans. We then treated ourselves to their Chocolate & Marshmallow Calzone to finish up with.

On the expensive side but has an excellent selection of food and produce. Always has much more interesting options than Coles/Woolworths. Great gluten free options, local products, and friendly staff.

The best low gluten bread I've ever had holy moly. I can eat very small amounts of gluten every 4 - 5 days (that's how gluten intolerant I am). I can eat this bread Every! Day! And I get no gluten sickness. Old school, simple, good quality bakery (custard tarts and sausage rolls style) with really good prices compared to the rest of the heavily gentrified area. 5+ stars Peregian Bakery never change!
