I love this place! I biked from wombat bend over in templestowe to Petty's Orchard. We just stopped there to get a treat or pastrie, there weren't that many options because it was late in the day so we got a gluten free chocolate cake slice to share, it was really moist and delicious. On our way out some friendly workers came up to us and started talking to us. They were the nicest people I've met and the conversation went on for a while, near the end I saw a massive kangaroo jumping across the path close to us, it was awesome.

Fantastic Italian spot – gluten-free pasta done right! We had a great experience at D’Oro. The gluten-free pasta was cooked perfectly and packed with flavour honestly one of the best we’ve had. The pizza was also excellent with a crispy base and rich toppings. Service was friendly and professional kudos to the staff, and the whole atmosphere was warm and inviting. Definitely coming back!

I had been to this cafe a year or so ago but I think the management may have changed in the meantime. I went there at around 10.30 on a weekday, so breakfast/brunch time. There are only 8-10 tables but it was quite full and the atmosphere was relaxed and people were chatty. The staff were friendly and obliging and I could tell that some customers were regulars from the staff talking to them. My tea and gluten free slice were good and there were some yummy and fresh looking pastries and focaccias in the display cabinet. There was music on but not ridiculously loud like some places. I must go back when I have more time. Bit of a hidden gem as the store front is quite small.

For all the gluten and dairy free people out there still wanting to enjoy an ice-cream, Augustus Gelatery has 3 incredibleee plant based flavour options that are to die for!! Not to mention the huge range of flavours for the dairy lovers! Highly recommended.
