This is a great spot with a lot of options. It’s hard to find gluten-free options in the UP, but they had gluten-free bread with vegan options. We brought a challenge to Babycakes of creating a gluten, dairy, egg and processed sugar free cake for my wife's birthday. They experimented with a couple options and finally created a chocolate cake with vanilla frosting using local honey as the sweetener. It was delicious and a huge hit for the party. We were especially grateful because finding that kind of dessert is pretty rare around here and they were willing to expand on what they'd previously offered. So if you have something out of the norms for baked goods, they should be the first place you check out.

One of our new favorite places. Loved the circus sideshow motif and terry cloth washcloths in the restrooms. My wife and I attended the dinner and magic show event last night 5/9. We totally enjoyed the entertainment and our salads and Airline Chicken (which my wife said was the best chicken she’s had in a long while) and Bistro Burger (cooked nicely with high quality beef) meals along with gluten free chocolate cake and cherry pie ala mode desserts were fantastic. Everything was served with a smile by friendly staff. Magician Anthony Grapido was very entertaining. Watch out for that guy, he’s destined for great things. We will surely be back to try other menu items and bring guests visiting from out of town.❤️
