Wonderful gluten free delights served up by lovely people. The scones were magnificent and unlike any GF product we’ve tasted anywhere. Truly amazing!!! The sausage rolls were incredible - flaky pastry and beautifully seasoned sausage filling. I will be consuming numerous more of these babies in the next weeks before returning to Canada!! Celiacs beware - I asked for a gluten free sandwich and was initially pleasantly surprised that they had gluten free bread stored separately. However after requesting this, the lady preparing it then placed it on the same counter full of other bread crumbs and used the same knife and butter etc which was also cross contaminated! I had to stop her and say that this isn’t celiac safe and she seemed a bit clueless until another staff member helped out. Staff training on this should be much better as it can leave people very unwell!

We stopped in on Thursday for some lunch while travelling through from Derry to Belfast. Although we had to wait approximately 15 minutes to be seated as there wasn’t a free table to cater for us all, the member of staff kindly gave us menus to browse over while we waited. We didn’t mind waiting as the place was very busy and to us that’s a good sign. We then got seated and the buzz around the place was electric. Every member of staff was rushing around getting the job done. Under pressure I’d imagine but still ‘most’ had a smile on their face. We picked up that they seem to have a system in place that it’s first come, first served which is fair. So when it came our turn we ordered from a fantastic menu that catered for us all, even one gluten free option (separate gluten free menu available) and then yes we had a little wait on our food but boy was it worth the wait. Can I add that our drinks came down shortly before our meal which we loved as they were still piping hot to enjoy with our lunches. I had the honey chilli chicken and i can honestly say it was the nicest lunch I’ve had in a long long time. Dittys 5 stars. Highly recommended. A shout out to all the staff working on Thursday 22nd August, you where incredible on which I’m guessing was an extremely busy shift for you all going by the time we where there. Nothing was any issue to any of you. Lovely, polite and mannerly staff along side great quality food, what else does anyone want. We will be back 👏🏼

We went on a Sunday morning for a late breakfast, the place was buzzing, but the staff were kind and friendly. The food was delicious, poached eggs cooked to absolute perfection, which is rare! I've just found out that this place does Gluten Free products on Wednesdays. WHY DO THEY NOT ADVERTISE THIS MORE???? My wife found out purely by accident. They sell GF scones, pancakes, potato, soda, rhubarb pie and mince pie. I haven't yet tasted any of their products, and will update this post later today when I do.
I'm so glad to find a real home bakery that does a good range of GF products.
PS. If the proprietor is reading this, PLEASE ADVERTISE MORE especially on websites for coeliacs. I remember finding Mr JDs (Newtownards Road, Belfast) doing GF battered fish and chips - the owner told me people come from Derry, Louth and even Dublin because they offer this. There is a HUGE market for good quality gluten free breads and pastries.
