We went to Crave on the way home from the Capital Health Neurosciences Hospital. We had a long morning, I had to get back to working, but my daughter really wanted to stop and we are both Celiac and have enjoyed Crave previously. I was pushing for Wawa because we were in a rush so I could work. We ordered Avocado on Toast and the Crave Eggs and Bacon plus coffees. The woman was very friendly and said our food would be ready in five minutes-- It was not very busy, but I assumed 10 minutes was probably the reality. Five minutes would have been a dream. We waited more than thirty minutes and asked her multiple times-- I had to push back two meetings and made me sour on the place a bit. The food continues to be good, just order ahead!

I am a bit confused about everyone praising the GF chocolate chip muffins. They looked gorgeous but they were on an uncovered tray right up against a tray of regular blueberry muffins. I was not at all comfortable with the high possibility of cross contamination. Not sure why other people with celiac were ok with that…

Great atmosphere, a contemporary buisiness vibe in the middle of a shopping district that offers a great selection of vegan/gluten free pastries and snacks. The latte here is my personal favorite and they even offer alternative sugars! If you want a healthy morning breakfast stop then Salud Cafe is where you should go, they just hired a new barista and she is absolutely fantastic. If I could rate higher than 5 starts I would.

Excellent selection. The prices are competitive if you use their shopping card (many, if not most, sale prices are only available with their card ; a common thing these days). There's an extensive section for those with dietary restrictions (gluten-free, etc.). For example, I found several brands of tortilla chips made with black beans or white beans. There's a selection of tahini for those inclined to make their own hummus. The 603 bus stops right in front of the store. That's a big plus for folk with mobility issues. Those who intend to use the 603 need to check the schedule and plan for either a 30-minute or 2-hour shopping trip. There's also a Petco and A. C. Moore in Hamilton Square, if that helps. The 603 does not run on Sundays. Very good produce, baked goods, and meat selection. Haven't really checked out prepared or frozen foods, yet. I'm going to have to spend a couple or three hours browsing just to see all that's there.

This store has come a long way. I am able to find organic produce, organic chicken, bison, Bob's Red Mill flours, and healthy snacks with few ingredients, non-GMO, gluten free, and more. They even carry my favorite Kombucha! For a mainstream grocery store, this store is on a path of evolution as they carry more and more items that we could once only find at Whole Foods. Shop Rite of Ramsey's prices are better than most of the local grocery markets. It's a win win for all.
