Our recent experience at Biaggi’s in Omaha was deeply disappointing. We visited with a party of eight to celebrate three family birthdays and were initially excited to dine there, especially because my sister and I both require gluten-free options and were pleased to see they offered a dedicated menu.
Unfortunately, the evening fell far short of expectations. Despite the restaurant’s reputation for offering an upscale dining experience, the service was rushed and inattentive, leaving us feeling as though we were being hurried through our meal rather than being allowed to enjoy our celebration.
More concerning was the quality of the food. Shortly after eating their salad, I became ill and remained sick for the rest of the evening. Several dishes, including my parents’ meals, arrived lukewarm, indicating a lack of attention to proper preparation. My own entrée — the Dijon salmon — was especially disappointing, as it was simply a piece of salmon with Dijon mustard squeezed over the top from a bottle, with no care or culinary effort whatsoever.
This not only ruined what should have been a joyful occasion but also raised serious concerns about the kitchen’s attention to food safety, quality, and dietary needs. If you’re looking for a place that cares about quality, customer experience, or food safety (especially for those with dietary restrictions), I would highly recommend looking elsewhere. Biaggi’s was a major letdown. I won’t be going back.
We were super impressed with the food and the service and it was above our expectations! The portion sizes were generous and they put a lot of effort into the presentation as well. I had the nachos and my husband had the chili rellenos and they were delicious! The gluten-free menu had several choices to select from, which is exceptional to find at a restaurant. Our server Kayla was a rockstar and went above and beyond to make sure my needs were met with my food allergies. We will definitely be back again.
I am in Omaha for work quite often and we always make a point to stop in and visit our favorite server, Crystal! The food is top notch every time! Tons of gluten free options from pizza to burgers and even some apps too. I tried the new crispy Parmesan Brussel Sprouts and they were 🔥🔥 Their gluten free pizza is also one of my faves!
I've been to Dante twice now and each experience has been wonderful. They not only have amazing food, but they have gluten free options available for both pizza and pasta. I've tried two of the GF pasta options and both have been great! My husband raves about the pizza. We're already looking forward to going back and next time I'm going to try the cauliflower crust pizza.
The place is nice, service is good. However the gluten free food was not the best. I understand it’s a sports bar but people with food restrictions also like to get together with their friends to watch the game. I encourage exploring options that supply this clientele niche.
I had the most delicious scallops. It’s expensive, but the service is great and they know the answer to all the questions. They were very clear about which foods contained gluten and all my food was delicious! My husband loved it, too!
Food was fair.Ordered gluten free pizza ,came with sausage which I did not order, ordered a salad ,no tomatoes came with tomatoes .Talked to server answer was short on help.Felt like we were putting her out ,asking to explain food problem. She very quickly dropped the check.Real style .Don't think many customers will be back after all this.I won't be. -5☆s
