Fantastic food and great service! we had a wonderful breakfast with an attentive waiter, portion sizes were great, and there's plenty of options for different dietary restrictions (including a gluten free menu.)
A good friend of mine has extreme gluten intolerance and carries an Epi pen everywhere. Culver's is safe to eat at. If the servers on the counter are young, remind them of the seriousness of your gluten intolerance. We are tickled that we can eat there because it is safe for her.
We stopped on our way through. The food took a little bit but it was fresh and hot. I ordered a salad with no croutons because of an allergy and it came out with croutons which was disappointing and then they told me there were no gluten free breadsticks. They did give me a bag of chips when I asked for them in lieu of the breadsticks.
They were friendly about our allergies and took them seriously.
I will never be taking my family back through this restaurant chain ever again. We have a wheat allergen, so they charge us $3.00 additional per sandwich. I ordered 4 giant sandwiches for my family of 6 which includes children.
The sandwiches were just bread, copious amounts of dry, crumbly, tasteless bread.
It was probably the worst sandwich experience I've had to date. $86 in sandwiches to choke on.
Everyone else's food looked good but if you have allergies or prefer gluten free take a hard pass here. All you'll get is bread and nothing in-between.
Also the men's bathroom smelled like someone had just washed their dog inside. An investment in a proper cleanser would go a long way.
