I’ve lived in Crystal Lake for about 5 years now, and Breaking Bread has my favorite rueben, hands-down. Meat and kraut are what you’d expect, but this place really shines with the cheese and bread. Delicious melty swiss and fluffy rye with a nice, exterior crunch. The 80s dad-rock playlist is a plus for me, and my gluten-free partner highly recommends their celiac-safe options.
