Celiac friendly!! Often times restaurants will say they are CF and then we get treated bad. Astro Burger was amazing. They prevented cross contamination and were so kind about it. Thank you.
I loved my tri-top salad, except for the fact that it was 80% lettuce. The dressing was delicious and unique. My husband's cheeseburger on a gluten free bun was very good. I feel like it's expensive to eat there though and I don't like the atmosphere.... it's all cement and very sterile.
Great place, quick service. Good food. Easy to customize exactly what you want. Some inside dinning well spaced apart. Very clean restaurant. Produce was very fresh.
I wish corporate Zupas was more transparent about ingredients so I could work around a gluten allergy. I understand there is always a contamination risk, but don't see why I can't know if flour is a main ingredient in a soup recipe.
Really bad experience, I asked for a gluten free bowl (I have celiac disease, and literally specified I have an allergy) and they brought out a bowl with fried onions. I can’t eat that, I’ll start vomiting and having diarrhea in like an hour. The lady was mean about it too saying it was okay because I “looked so healthy”. I took it to the front and they made me buy a new one instead of just replacing the one I was allergic to. So I paid $30 for two bowls, I can’t eat one, and they weren’t even that good (too sweet, needs more lime or fish sauce). Would not recommend, and I will not be recommending them to the gluten free community in Utah.
Tried the strawberry frappe and a large iced coffee with oat milk and raspberry syrup. The strawberry frappe is gluten free (the barista checked for me!), not sure about celiac friendly. Comfy couches inside and a good place to catch up with friends.
