This place was so good we came back the next day because we couldn’t stop thinking about it. I have celiac and the celiac waffle was incredible. My husband loved the paffles! The owners were so friendly and welcoming. Definitely going to be a tradition on our next trips to Charlottesville!

If I could give the service zero stars, I would. I ordered through DoorDash and did not receive part of my order, which was for a coworker - a gluten free pizza (the only thing she can eat). We contacted DoorDash and they asked us to call Mellow Mushroom. I spoke to a manager who went back and forth with me regarding getting MY money back. He was rude and impatient, when at that point all I wanted was my money back for something I did not get. Maybe the Dasher kept the other pizza, but it would have made the experience better to talk to a nicer manager. I will not be returning to this location.

Gluten free buns available for any of the sandwiches!!! This is not on their menu nor did I see it posted "just had to ask". Yum! Fresh home style pulled chicken sandwich the "winner" "winner" absolutely delicious and completely unexpected. After attempting to pick it up and failing miserably I actually ate my sandwich with a knife and fork! The tortilla chips were great - not like your traditional tortilla chips. Nice and clean place with outdoor seating available. Cashier was very friendly and helpful.

I wish, I could give 10 stars to this place! The sandwiches are so delicious, the gluten-free options are a big A+, customer service is another A+, the restaurant is always cleaned and neat! I want to compliment all the guys who work at MC, they greet the customers when they arrive and leave. Something, you don’t see anymore in young people! Loved this place! My husband and i went on valentines day and it was super busy, but they took the time to chat with us and remade our order when we accidentally ordered the wrong thing. I also had the gluten free pizza and it was actually really good. Highly recommend!! Great food, even greater service.

This was such a quaint spot to stop into while browsing the Downtown Mall area of Charlottesville! It’s a little hidden and we stumbled upon it by accident, but I believe that adds to the charm of the place. It’s on the top floor so you will need to walk up steps and I didn’t see an elevator for those with mobility concerns. At the top you’re greeted by a Bedouin themed area with both table and chair seating and traditional Bedouin style seating (low tables and cushions for seats). There is also a private seating area in the back with similar Bedouin style seating and a few outdoor table/chair seats. Although it has varying tea options, there were a decent amount of food options as well. The restaurant is vegetarian with a decent number of vegan options as well. They do also have the option to add salmon to some of their dishes if you prefer meat protein. Vegetarian/Vegan/Gluten Free options are labeled on the menu so no need for guessing. We ordered Blossoming Tea, the Smoked Salmon Sandwich with a side of Dahl, the Coconut Cardamon Cake, and the Vegan Spice Cake. First time trying dahl so for those who also haven’t tried it before, it’s made of lentils so tastes like a grainer porridge. We enjoyed the spice cake but found the Cardamon Teacake a tad dry. The Smoked Salmon Sandwich was wonderful. As a tea enthusiast this was a great visit, but this is also a must visit if you just want a cool place to take a break or if you want a cozy spot to eat. Always a great go to for work lunch. They deliver over to the clinic making it super convenient. My favorites are the remarkable sandwich on gluten free bread and the soup of the day (changes each day so I call ahead to ask). They have several gluten free options. Always delicious!

I was looking for a healthy breakfast after my cycle workout and this was absolute perfection. I had the avocado toast with lox (they even have gluten free options, which I had) with a smoothie. It was delightful and the ambiance is super fresh. Go experience it for yourself :-)

Food that will literally make you cry of happiness. With so much flavor, an absolutely fantastic wine selection, and such a great friendly and outgoing ambience, Fleurie is my new favorite restaurant of all time. Gluten-free choices abound too. I’d give it 6 stars if I could. Highly recommended.

Eat here now!! Just find a place to park an and walk on over! Great vegetarian options, even delicious without the bread!! I was a little sad that it is all sandwiches, but the fried green tomato on greens was amazing!! So even if you're GF or reducing gluten, this is the spot. The lovely and attentive waiter informed me that they have a separate fryer for GF! So thoughtful. I'm excited to come back and try more deliciousness. I was sad to see blue grass grill close, but this is actually amazing and I'm glad they're here ♥️

Delicious hot, sizzling, fresh burgers and breakfast. We ordered sausage and gravy with eggs. Also got a gus burger no bun (gluten free gf) that was perfect. At 830 am on a school day - Monday - place was empty and got super fast service. Friendly as always.
