Excellent excellent excellent service!!!!!! They made sure to check more on my allergens more than I did!!!! They are Lara and Keysa. They checked milk, chocolate and made sure to ask if I’m celiac or gluten sensitive. So far the best service I ever got in Australia!!!!! Thank you guys! ❤️ Very cheerful and welcoming everyone with a smile too.
Very affordable (the cheapest place to eat on campus), and from having eaten and ordered coffee there many times, it’s the best place overall to eat!
$3.6 for a coffee with all the options of a commercial cafe, plus every single one of their restaurant food options (from $3 dahl and rice to their curries and lasagnes) is incredibly filling and such a steal for the price they’re offered at.
Their focaccias will sort you out for lunch and possibly some dinner (l a r g e)
The QR code system is genuinely there to help out volunteers as they’re sometimes understaffed, but I promise you that everyone is passionate about their work and quality of food.
Everything is vegetarian and/or vegan (gluten free when applicable), and I’ve had to on multiple occasions stop myself from ordering their cakes and brownies because of how good they are :)
Fifth year on campus and I’m firm on my belief that this is the best place to eat!
The club has been refurbished nicely with an interesting menu. Staff are attentive and helpful with dietary requirements and I had a few options for gluten free.
Dosa Hut in Clayton offers a satisfying meal deal for $21.66. I enjoyed a flavorful chicken dosa with two idly, accompanied by coconut cream, a spicy dip, and a light curry. The chicken was perfectly spiced, and the dosa was crispy and delicious. The gluten-free option and complimentary drink made it a great value. My husband also enjoyed his meal. Highly recommended!
Helpful, informative service (I asked about gluten free options) and whilst their menu is more like 'restaurant' prices, the bain maree options are much more realistic for a work lunch.
