A Culinary Haven in Oshawa - A Personal Favorite! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The White Apron Restaurant holds a special place in my heart, & it has consistently been a favourite of mine every time I revisit Oshawa. Introduced by a friend in 2019, this culinary haven has never failed to impress. One of the standout features for me is their dedication to accommodating dietary preferences. The fact that they offer gluten-free toast & French toast is a game-changer, especially for someone like me who is celiacs. It's a rare find & adds an extra layer of love for this spot. The food itself is nothing short of delicious, & the portion sizes are generous. Many of the meals are so hearty that they can easily be shared, making it a perfect spot for a communal dining experience. The staff at The White Apron are the true gems. Their super-friendly, helpful, & kind demeanour adds to the overall welcoming atmosphere. It's evident that they are passionate about what they do, & their dedication to ensuring a positive dining experience is truly commendable. Now, let's address the only minor hiccup—the parking situation. Being located downtown, parking can be a bit tricky, but it's by no means unmanageable. The inconvenience is a small price to pay for the culinary delights that await inside. In conclusion, The White Apron Restaurant is a true gem in Oshawa, & my personal favourite. The dedication to accommodating various dietary needs, coupled with delicious food & exceptional staff, makes it a must-visit. The parking challenge is a minor detail compared to the overall joy this restaurant brings. Highly recommended!

As a teenager with celiac I had an amazing experience! The customer service here was amazing from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. Our server was very good with information on celiac and was super kind! This is one of the only restaurants I've been to that has multiple dedicated fryers and gluten free breading. I am definitely coming back, it was an amazing experience!

With many food allergies, restaurants can be daunting for me. Family gathering for breakfast. I ordered just eggs. Waitress says we have gluten-free options. 😃. Well then...So for once my breakfast was so good. Thank you Coco Frutti

My review is a few months late, but I really can't say enough good things about the ladies in the front. Came with a friend who wanted Mr Burger when I just had new autoimmune issues that popped up... I thought I would be better not eating, but they told me they would make me something that would sit right with me. They offered me gluten free bun, chicken burger instead of beef, even offered to clean the grill for me before cooking the chicken & took the time to tell me what was in the sauce they put over the chicken to make sure it was safe for me. I really didnt want to be a bother but they assured me it was not a problem & they were so kind about it. That burger was freakin' delicious!

food was excellent! Didn't know they had gluten free here! I was so impressed at how well it was made. The service Jenn gave me was absolutely amazing. She was very polite and patient. I couldn't have asked for a better waitress.

When you are looking for a breakfast spot in North Oshawa Symposium may not come to mind immediately but I encourage you to give this restaurant a try - spacious seating options, attentive servers, breakfast menu items to please all tastebuds and refreshing drink options. Patrons are not crammed into a small dining area and you have enough space to have a leisurely meal without bumping into your dining neighbours, which makes the atmosphere very inviting. We liked all the food preparation but it tends to border on greasy spoon instead of a more eclectic and personalized menu preparation style. Their fruit only smoothies are worth a mention and a refreshing start to the morning or brunch experience. They have gluten free options which is always a plus for us. Service was attentive and happy to make requested substitutions. Service was always delivered with a smile and staff were overall pleasant and welcoming. We have visited this location more than once now and it's safe to say Symposium is now on our list of breakfast spots to visit on a regular basis. We expect that this location will start to get a lot busy in the days and months ahead as word spreads so visit soon and often.

Been coming here for years. A must stop and staple in the city of Oshawa. Recently discovered their gluten free menu. The free birthday pie that couldn’t be finished
