Amazing place, a total must in Paris visit! The place is run by a very sweet Japanese family from Osaka.
We were in a Japan tour last year, and really had difficulty to find such great Japanese food for people with gluten allergy and vegetarians.. It was a big surprise to find it in the middle of Europe!
Disappointing food. Server was 10 stars, she is a rockstar! Went on a Saturday. Picked this place because it has Gluten free options and was close to the Louvre. Order the Tuna salad. Greens were wilted and half rotting. Salad flavors did not complement each other. Edamame, Tuna, lentils and heavy on the cumin ??!! Tuna was supposed to lightly seared and it was well done. Croque monsieur I swear was made with Wonder bread. Would not return.
Stopped for a quick breakfast and coffee before our visit for the louvre. I got gluten free avocado toast and a gluten free blueberry muffin for the road. Everyone else got pancakes and loved them!
Great place for a quick meal if you're looking for a gluten-free option. Unfortunately the crepe was very mediocre.
I had a banana and chocolate crepe. The banana was hard and there were only 6 slices of banana on it.
Main reason I wouldn't recommend this place was the rude behavior of the smaller waiter. He literally told us to hurry up talking during the order because he was in a hurry. He had passed on the wrong crepe to the kitchen. He was not hospitable at all. And at checkout he almost asked for a tip.
However, the taller waiter was very friendly. If he had only helped us, I would have given this review an extra star.
We researched on line that day and were delighted to get a booking. As reviewed previously I had no issue as a celiac getting my needs catered for and our waiter checked with the chef before agreeing my order. We arrived 30 mins early and were seated straight away. Everything was beautiful the food the service could not recommend any higher.Alot of solo eaters on the night as well all seemed very happy.
Perfect service for this brunch which remains a little expensive compared to what is offered. The dishes are good poultry and salmon this day.) Peeled shrimp and whelks. Nice selection of taramasalata. The pastries are very beautiful and gluten-free. However, the pastries are disappointing and not up to the standard of the rest of the brunch. Damage. The oysters presented vertically quickly lose their water and quickly stick to the shell... The place is nice but nothing more. The renovation work is clearly not helping.
Raced here in the cold reading the reviews and then disappointed when they did not offer gluten free pasta or bread, I was really hungry so settled for a steak and chips which was delicious still.
Food is amazing. Warm space and cozy atmosphere, perfect for winter days (but also some summer vibes).
There are some gluten free dishes although it is not written on the menu.
The warm drinks are excelent! Try the cardamome and rose option if you want an exotic experience.
Cozy, well decorated, wide choice of dishes. I absolutely do not recommend it for people with celiac disease or for anyone suffering from other intolerances: they don't seem to pay attention to it, despite the requests. Obviously, no one expects specific treatment in a non-certified gluten free restaurant, but certainly a minimum of culture in this regard would be welcome nowadays.
For example, a waiter didn't know what gluten was, he believed it was also in rice and he said "glucose" several times. As proof of the disinterest (or perhaps just ignorance) of the staff regarding this issue, I found that contamination with flour, breadsticks and bread was everywhere.
