We had a great experience with the pancakes, ordering is via QR code and phone and the prices are a bit higher. However, food and drinks were amazing. Also to point out, they sell good quality free farm meat! They also offer gluten free food for people with celiac.
Very good café!
They have gluten-free cakes that are really delicious. The food is also recommended, and they sell bread (with gluten). The atmosphere is very pleasant and the service is excellent – everyone is very friendly and attentive. I've been there three times and will definitely come back. Thank you very much!
We spontaneously dropped in without a reservation and got a table right away, even though it was very busy.
Gluten-free rolls available upon request. Lactose-free/decaffeinated coffee options were no problem... I was in heaven!!
Simply amazing... delicious scrambled eggs and very friendly service.
The food was served quickly.
The food was so delicious. I had the English breakfast with sausage and fried egg.
And it was the perfect amount!
The matcha latte was also a sight to behold.
From gluten-free to lactose-free, everything is available here, and everyone will find something delicious!
100% recommended
A great concept for serving sustainable, fair, and regional dishes. A dream for vegetarians and vegans who love delicious homemade food. There are also good, gluten-free options! The service is always top-notch.
I wanted to eat here because I heard they had gluten-free pizza.
At least there was gluten-free pinsa (from Schär?).
Otherwise there is no service, ordering terminals like McD's, drinks and food have to be picked up at the respective counters. When you're alone with two small children, it quickly becomes very tiring.
It was only after a lot of questions that I finally got my gluten-free Pinsa. There were no gluten-free dishes to be found on the ordering terminal. Local contacts were few and far between, and there were also various language barriers.
Overall, the food was ok (although I can also put Schär's gluten-free Pinsa in the oven at home), the tables were pretty unhygienic upon closer inspection, and the service was non-existent.
Thank you. This was truly the best burger I've ever had in a restaurant, and it was gluten-free. The portions were generous. I practically had two burgers, as the buns were smaller. The fries and coleslaw were also delicious. The service was super friendly, and the atmosphere on the market square in the sunshine was a dream.
Here you can enjoy a relaxed and delicious breakfast, brunch, or even coffee and cake. Seasonal dishes and drinks change regularly, and the basic selection is huge. Everyone will find something they like here, as they offer a wide range of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options.
The interior is super chic and the store is huge. There are plenty of restroom options, and thankfully, the restroom is cleaner than at other locations. The service has always been friendly and helpful.
The best gluten free pizza ever!
Not your typical “ready-made” gluten-free pizza dough, but tastes at least as good as the normal one. The gluten-free pasta was also very good. The staff was also super friendly.
If I'm ever in town again, I would definitely come here again.
Incredibly delicious vegan pancakes - optionally gluten-free, they were super fluffy and tasted very good (as did the creamy fruit side dish), absolutely recommended!!!
We reserved in advance, you should definitely do that. We became aware of the restaurant through Google Maps because you can eat gluten-free here.
So far so good.
There is an allergen menu, which unfortunately has very small print, but still includes every dish and thus provides the necessary information.
The employees also know their stuff well, but unfortunately it is only possible to a very limited extent to remodel the dishes because “everything has been counted out”, something like that. Too bad. But combining the baked potato with turkey breast or chicken breast, for example, is not possible because the meat is counted and is only served in combination with a sandwich. This sandwich isn't available gluten-free, so tough luck. You just have to take both and then not eat what you can't tolerate. But this also creates a lot of waste. That's a shame.
The food itself is delicious and the portions are extremely generous. A “small” cola, for example, has 0.5L, a large one has 1.4L.
We really liked the atmosphere, the employees were very nice and made an effort. The furnishings and decoration are great, the women's toilets have dry shampoo, deodorant, perfume, pads and tampons. I really liked that because there is no unpleasant situation if you forget something.
All in all, it is a bit difficult for people with food intolerances to find something. But everything is marked and visible on this table, even if, as I said, it is printed really tiny.
The café itself is very nicely decorated and has a large selection of vegetarian/vegan dishes as well as delicious drinks, but in the end the long wait for the food wasn't really worth it.
My friends and I ate here for the first time in the café with a reservation, as it was already busy.
I really appreciate that they pay attention to high-quality ingredients and products and that they probably put a lot of effort and time into preparing the food.
Unfortunately we had to wait a long time until someone came to take the order and even almost an hour until the food finally came.
In between, the wrong dishes were brought to the table, but we took this with humor as it can happen to anyone.
The dishes are very nicely prepared if you look at the pictures on social media, which is why we had high expectations, but the taste didn't meet our expectations, which is a shame :(
In my opinion, the individual ingredients in the gluten-free version of the Lena Bowl didn't really work well together and the Rosalie tarte flambée was quite dry, but crispy.
If you plan to visit Café Hin&Veg, you should bring a lot of time and maybe just order a cake at the cake counter 🍰, as all the waiting for the dishes isn't really worth it.
Very friendly staff, clean hotel, lots of gluten-free dishes, price is right. Quiet place slightly isolated. Ideal for larger events (family celebrations) would book there again.
A very beautiful and lively place to switch off, feel good and relax.
The staff is very friendly and nice and the vegan and partly gluten-free options taste great!
If you're otherwise looking in vain for gluten-free baked goods because you want to eat delicious cakes without having to bake yourself despite having celiac disease, you've come to the right place.
Very good selection. Yummy.
Regarding the restaurant, there were seven of us with a reservation.
The ambiance is great, the food very, very good (even gluten-free pizzas).
So far, so good: After ordering a drink after the main course, the staff ignored us for half an hour (!!). That's unacceptable.
We all sat for a long time with empty glasses and would have possibly ordered desserts in addition to drinks. So we went to the counter, paid, and left. What a shame.
Were there for the first time. Nice atmosphere, lots of choice on the menu. Also suitable for people who want to eat gluten-free, lactose-free and decaffeinated.
Great way to have a gluten-free breakfast in Leipzig! We were there spontaneously and didn't reserve in advance. However, it is advisable to reserve in advance.
The café has a range of cakes and tarts from the best varieties from various Dresden bakers/confectioners. Here you can find vegan, gluten-free and gluten- and lactose-free cakes.
Furthermore, a wonderful coffee house atmosphere.
If you're in the city center and want to have a nice coffee, we definitely recommend it.
A great shop, super delicious burgers and really crispy fries. Very friendly service. Great and stylishly furnished. Gluten and lactose free options are also available!
I immediately recommended it to a friend.
We were actually there after the store closed today and still got a wonderful coffee to go and gluten-free cake to take away. Our kids even received cookies as gifts. We haven't experienced such a warm atmosphere in a long time. Thank you for this beautiful Freiberg conclusion. We'll be back and next time especially because of you. ❤️
We went there for dinner, actually by chance, because we were looking for gluten-free food. They just happened to be having their "Spanish Weeks" in September. They served tapas, and the food was so delicious, and the owner was so sweet. You can tell she does it with pure passion! Highly recommended.
I was there for a spontaneous drink of cocoa with a dear friend and was happily surprised that there was gluten-free cake and it was absolutely delicious
If I'm in Leipzig again, I'll definitely come back ☀️
Great breakfast with a small but fine selection! Large selection of cakes and tarts and a huge selection of drinks.
There are even gluten-free rolls available for an additional charge. There are even gluten-free cakes/tarts on weekends.
Very nice and attentive staff. Today we had our little dog with us outside, who was given a bowl of water without being asked. The menu with delicious and advertised gluten-free ice cream is also very good! Gladly again!
The menu offers a wide variety of gluten-free dishes, delicious gluten-free rolls, and gluten-free cakes and brownies (which are displayed next to the regular cakes in the display case). However, I can't comment on cross-contamination.
My feel-good restaurant in Leipzig! Right on the Karl Heine Canal, nestled in the countryside, every taste will get their money's worth here. Great selection of food for vegetarians and vegans as well as meat lovers (burgers are recommended, gluten-free is also possible). There is a changing monthly menu with more than just 15 meals. Here people are still thinking about great taste creations (e.g. currently bear salmon risotto with goat cheese) and all at reasonable prices. Gluten-free or vegan cakes are also available. The staff is courteous, (child-)friendly and serves quickly. The outdoor area is great for dogs and there is a changing table inside.
Small menu, but everything you can eat is delicious. The staff was welcoming and answered all questions. Some dishes are gluten-free and I was allowed to bring my own gluten-free bread to enjoy the delicious hummus.
We had breakfast at the Penguin milk bar on Saturday, the breakfast offering was okay, but it didn't blow your mind, the food was refilled quickly, but unfortunately the sausages were completely burnt and not edible. Another big point of criticism is that there is no gluten-free bread or roll alternative, which I absolutely cannot understand when a restaurant offers a breakfast buffet every day of the week. When asked, the service staff said that you could bring your own bread as a gesture of goodwill and then you would be charged €1 less. Luckily there is a Rossmann just around the corner, so you can at least get corn waffles.
The Schillergarten - located directly on the Elbe and the Blue Wonder. Always worth a visit - especially on sunny days. The food is good, home-style and generally delicious. A commercial kitchen with lots of capacity. Unfortunately, as a gluten-free eater you are quite restricted and the staff are rather ignorant about this topic and what is used in the food. You can do better, I think that would be great!!! 😊
Otherwise, see you next time, I'm looking forward to it. 👋🏻
I am very (!!!) happy about the super delicious gluten-free options. After years I had a really fantastic pizza again. The gluten-free pizza base doesn't taste like cardboard either (my wife tried it and was even jealous :D)
