Good morning, We made a reservation for the evening of September 28 several days in advance, specifying that we were allergic to gluten. We showed up in the evening specifying our allergy again and the waiter told us that we could eat the whole menu and that they would accommodate. We are quite surprised. A second waiter comes to our table, and we talk to him again about our allergy, and he tells us that no, we can't eat everything. We order the dishes with his help, trusting this server. What a mistake... We both spent a sleepless night with severe abdominal pain. At 5:30 a.m., not sleeping because of the pain, I send an email to the restaurant explaining that we are both sick and I look for an explanation. I've been waiting for a response for two weeks in vain... It's the least I can do to at least respond when you make people sick and apologize... Gluten allergy is not a fad, nor a game, we had very severe pain for four days... If you have allergies, run away... We ate several days before in Venice restaurants "Gluten Free" displayed on the front and we tolerated everything well and it was excellent. Favor these if you want to be sure....
