This is a great spot in La Eixample! We were drawn in by the charming decor and proximity to our hotel, but the food was so good and the service so friendly weâve returned multiple times over multiple visits to Barcelona. They have options for omnivores, vegetarians, and vegans, as well as labeling for allergens like gluten. The staff happily converse in English or Spanish (probably other languages as well) and theyâre very warm and friendly. Highly recommend!

I am celiac and I asked if I could eat the sandwich I brought from home (obviously I would have consumed a drink and coffee), they told me no, that they had a gluten-free option, but when asked if the options they had were packaged, they answered no, I told them that there is a risk of cross-contamination and they continued to refuse.
Little empathy.
Oh, and speaking Catalan is not a big deal.
