I can understand the need to cater to absolutely everyone but I've never experienced such a lousy effort to execute this. Me and my partner went there as it came up as vegan friendly on Google. No, it is not. The waitress that attended us seemed to have no clue what vegan actually means and not at all nice. The service was very slow, we were there 1 hour out of which the waiting time to just get our drinks(a water and a simple coffee) took 20 minutes. It took another 15 minutes for the food(2 bread with tomato and oil). Then we had to go to the counter to pay as we gave up waiting. When we asked how they would veganize a plate that they marked as "vegan option available" it was literally that they would take away the egg, the croissant , the cheese and all other items and replace them with a salad and a pancake. What? Why would you put "vegan option" by a plate that you cant veganize? A vegan option for that plate would have been a vegan croissant, a vegan omelette and vegan cheese, all things that exist and can be offered. We were then told that the pancake is glutenfree, to which I replied that we are vegan, we want vegan options. Her reply? Yes, the pancake is glutenfree. Few places have angered me this much with their false advertisement in regards to vegan friendliness. Update your menu, erase the "vegan option" notes beside plates that you don't even offer or start offering them. Also educate your waitresses on what vegan. We drove 30min to try your vegan breakfasts and ended up eating bread with tomato and oil as we were starving and didn't want to search for other bars nearby. Might be a great place to eat for omnivores or a wonderful place to get drinks but false advertisement gets you nowhere.
