The food was good. They have a great selection of Gluten free pancakes, French toast and crepes as well as gluten free bread. Our server was great, Dale. Nice spot situated 1 min from the Rehoboth Beach boardwalk.
Jorge was a great server! He gave great service and made sure that I didn’t get sick at all which I enjoyed. I have gluten free intolerance and he made sure to tell me that not to eat the rice because it had gluten in it. He was so so sweet! The service was great and the proteins the fajitas especially was delicious! I came with a family of 8 including 2 kids and we were treated with so much love at closing time. Thank you so so much! I hope everyone comes and visits this place!
Lots of options for gluten free baked goods. Great gluten free roll for breakfast sandwiches. Clean bathrooms. Delicious coffee and quaint seating area.
After our first restaurant choice was closed we found ourselves at this restaurant. I had eaten there before and was anxious to share because I really enjoyed it. We were very disappointed there was not a single gluten free option on the menu. With so many people who are now gluten free I was very surprised there was not a single gluten free option on the menu (aside from the items that were naturally GF). We were looking forward to trying their afternoon tea, however, now it's out of the question.
My favorite juice spot in Rehoboth! Always cold pressed and fresh. Friendly staff. Hulks Sweetie and Watermelon juice are my go-to’s and Hulk Juice for when I really need my greens! So many healthy options for people looking for gluten free or dairy free options - love this place!
Found this place this weekend on a family trip. Ended up going twice! Everything we got was delicious and well-prepared. They even had gluten-free options for my mom who has an allergy. Service and atmosphere was extremely friendly and fun. A special shout-out to our server, Jeff, who we had on both visits. Plan on making this part of our Labor Day weekend tradition!
Not allergy friendly. The lady with the blonde hair was not accommodating and was not very nice to my friend who was gluten free. The waiter was nice though. Food was pretty ok
The restaurant was highly rated for having gluten free options, so we got take out while visiting Dewey Beach. The place was beautiful and everyone was very nice.. but the food was underwhelming and expensive. The cesar salad was 6 leaves of romaine with dressing on the side. The gluten free pasta was terrible and the grilled chicken it was topped with was worse. I can appreciate the restaurant trying to serve a gluten free clientele... but $78 plus tip was just crazy for what we got.
My girlfriend and I had a delightful experience at Somewhere yesterday. The atmosphere is super cute, and we loved sitting up front on the porch. I had the gluten-free avocado toast, which was good—not super yummy, but I enjoyed it. My girlfriend had the tacos and said the pork was yummy.
We also tried the mimosa bucket, which comes with a bottle and three different kinds of fresh juice. It was a fun idea, but we ordered Prosecco and it came with cava instead. If we had known in advance, it wouldn’t have been an issue, but Prosecco is just not the same. Despite that, it was a super fun environment overall.
Absolutely recommend Kaan’s, we loved it. Sweet and friendly owner was a joy to buy from. He makes most of the items they sell so it was all fresh and delicious. The coffee was good and strong enough to drink black. He even had gluten-free cupcakes for our celiac daughter at an extremely reasonable price. My husband and I agreed that if we lived in Rehoboth, we’d be at Kaan’s every week! A great little find only about a block from the beach.
I had the steak egg and cheese on an everything bagel and it was delicious. The bagels were soft and chewy and very enjoyable! They also have gluten free bagels and bagel sandwiches which is great for family with celiac!
Looking for a new favorite spot in Lewes, Delaware? Look no further than Midway Cafe! This gem offers traditional American cuisine with a twist, serving up lunch, dinner, and the holy grail of meals: all-day breakfast. Yes, you heard that right—pancakes for dinner are totally a thing here.
Let’s talk food. The Mediterranean breakfast is a game-changer. If you’re into trying something new, the Turkish coffee and tea are must-haves. Trust me, you’ll feel like you’ve been transported to a café in Istanbul without leaving Delaware.
The ambiance at Midway Cafe is spot on. It’s friendly, well-lit, and the decor is modest and unassuming—no pretentious vibes here, just good food and good times. The customer service? Outstanding. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure you have the best experience possible. AJ, the owner, is a standout—super friendly and always ready to help.
Special features? They’ve got ‘em. Aside from the aforementioned all-day breakfast, their Turkish breakfast options are something you won’t find everywhere. Plus, if you’re gluten-free, you’re in luck—they’ve got options for you too.
Prices are modest and affordable, so you can enjoy a great meal without breaking the bank. The central location is a bonus, with plenty of free parking available.
Overall, my experience at Midway Cafe was fantastic—better than I could’ve expected. If you’re in Lewes and haven’t checked this place out yet, do yourself a favor and go. You won’t regret it!
This is a hidden gem in Rehobeth for a healthy breakfast. It was a nice break between all the fried food at the beach to have a light breakfast. Lots of gluten-free options as well! I had the breakfast burrito, no cheese and with their gluten-free tortilla substitute and it was delicious. The homemade hot sauce is lovely. Bacon just right. My husband had a pressed juice. The only critique would be to cook those home fried potatoes much more- add herbs or something to kick up the flavor. The owner was fabulous as was the staff.
Nice coastal ambiance near prime Rehoboth Beach location. We liked the bar and had good service. The entire staff was professional and courteous.
Our group enjoyed the crab dip appetizer. The prime rib dinner was delicious (but I was hoping for more shrimp). The mahi tacos were really tasty.
Hoping that the menu expands with more gluten-free options (no GF appetizers...) but we appreciated the staff's knowledge of the menu. They run some good specials so it's worth checking their website to see what's available.
There for breakfast several times. Servers are very friendly and helpful. (Watched server Jesse give great reviews of several nearby restaurants to a nearby table). Food is well prepared with great variety. Waffles were tasty though not crisp. Fruit topping was delicious. Can do gluten free and those options were very good as well. Good coffee that was topped off until we declined more! Bathroom is clean though not handicapped compliant (like a typical home powder room). This has become our Rehoboth Beach breakfast go to!
