Highly recommend!! We enjoyed our time there. The food is AMAZING with fresh ingredients, flavorful and so many options. Reasonably priced for location and highly quality. The yucca bits are like clouds in your mouth. We loved the lentil burger and the nachos. Make sure you get their craft soda to wash down all the goodness. They even have sweet treats that are vegan and gluten free. The service was the best ! Friendly staff. We will definitely be back. THANK YOU Dark and Light Cafe.

Lines always to long so I usually avoid it for that reason. But my sons been wanting is and the other day the line wasn't to bad. But ordered my son his sandwich. I asked for the grilled nuggets because I'm gluten-free,and they gave me a deconstructed chicken sandwich with bread on the side. Couldn't even try the bread because it wasn't labeled with ingredients and I can not risk eating something to where it has no label, lettuce and tomato was wilted from heat of the chicken,so basically I didnt eat much of it. Also my sons spicy chicken sandwich and frys was a bit soggy. I know breaded chicken shouldn't be soggy andneither should frys. O well I will only go back every blue moon for my son.

Really wanted to love this place, but just couldn’t. Came to Mount Dora for a girls’ trip, and we all love crepes, so coming here was a no-brainer. Unfortunately, one of the crepes (gluten-free) was just not cooked enough, and the fillings were all cold. Another crepe had cold fruit inside (peaches) and the maker did not include one of the ordered ingredients, which had to be added later. Warm crepes should have warm fillings. My crepe was fine, as it was a savory crepe and everything was warm. Would love to try again if fillings were warm. There were also flies that kept landing on us as we were eating.

grilled pork chops with garlic seasoning was so heavily coated it looked breaded. I'm celiac so went online to check the gluten free menu to see if it was safe for me to eat. grilled pork chops was on the gf list. unpalatable due to the saltiness and rubber texture. broccoli was old and discolored with brown/black. should have not been served. loaded baked potato didn't taste fresh and didn't seem to have butter. I expected a loaded potato so thought butter and sour cream would have been included with the smidgen of cheese and bacon on it. horrible meal.
