No. This place is NOT gf. The waitstaff is kind and attentive but their training must be awful bc they continue to claim their food is GF but they use soy sauce in all their meat. I got sick off this place for years before finally realizing what was going on when a kindhearted server at one of their locations told me about the soy sauce. If you have celiac please steer clear. This place isn’t safe.
Neat little place with really good food! They were great with my daughter and I needing to be gluten free. Very interesting coffee combs that were also delicious.
Our hotel recommended Growler’s and I was so excited about their gluten free pizza option. Unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. This 10 inch pizza was $25 and looked incredibly sad. For this price, I was expecting something WAY better than what I received. I was charged $2.50 extra for basil and they completely forgot to put it on the pizza. The salad bar was $8 for one trip and they had ran out of all toppings. This place was one giant letdown all the way around. I don’t recommend and will not be back!
Such a pretty restaurant!
They were able to do a gluten free/dairy free pancake for my daughter and it was really good.
They also made a mean omelet. I loved the big garlic chunks in it.
I had their special of the day, and in all of my world travels, this sandwich was one of the most delicious I have ever had. The atmosphere was great, and the staff was friendly. I can't recommend it enough. It has gluten free options and would be kid friendly as well.
It was fairly crowded when we arrived a little after 9 AM. We decided we'd order to go, since no seating was available. The cashier asked if it was for here or to-go and we said to-go she pointed to a rather small piece of paper taped to a cabinet near the register indicating those were the only items available for take out. Three items, breakfast burrito, sandwich or bagel. Neither of us wanted those. I pointed out the reason we were ordering to-go is because no tables were available. Her attitude was "oh well". As we were discussing whether to order from their to-go menu a table opened up and we grabbed it. It's one of those seat yourself places. So, we ordered and waited. Then waited some more, about 20 minutes before the food arrived. Seemed long considering it's not a large place. Not sure if that's the norm for them or if they were short staffed in the kitchen. The two people bringing out the food were friendly. There was an issue with our order and the guy was polite and resolved the problem. My husband liked the food, I thought it was just okay. I'm not sure I'd go back due to the wait time and the unfriendly cashier, but if you don't mind those things it might be worth it. Location was convenient to where we were staying. We didn't try the coffee or tea, so can't comment on that. They did have gluten free bread, although I didn't see that mentioned on the menu.
Food is great and staff is friendly. They get very busy so be patient with only two employees they did great! McCall is a tough place to find employees so we are use to waiting for food it doesn’t bother us. Gluten free bun is terrific!
