The cutest bakery with the most delicious chocolate chip cookies and cinnamon rolls. The offering is wonderful and includes gluten free options as well. Such a treat!!
Absolutely love this place! They have gluten free options and their salad bar is always fresh. Staff is nice and the tables are usually clean. I'm always here or having someone bring me something.
It was a very pleasant experience to eat here. Even though it's BBQ it had different flavors than I expected . The food was good. They had plenty of gluten free options.

I can see why Elsie’s has been a highly popular choice for locals and tourists alike! We stopped by for a hot lunch on our way to visit Mississippi. I chose Elsie’s bc they have gluten free options. I had the grilled chicken plate with red beans and rice, and broccoli. That chicken was SO dang good. I missed
getting the crustless crab pie (sadly) but the chicken plate sure made up for it! Hubby had a fried shrimp platter that he said was just okay. Bathroom is a single seater but seems to have a very short wait time. Parking is behind the street and then you can pop right back out to the highway pretty easily. Our server, Mei/May, was super cute and helpful. I took home about 1/2 the red beans and rice with the remaining broccoli. It was a perfect dinner reheated! Stop scrolling and have a delicious breakfast at Simple Joe’s! I’m a Carolina girl and I know shrimp & grits, and these are ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! The owner is on site and makes sure customers are happy, the food is excellent, and the atmosphere is eclectic and funky. I can’t endorse this place enough. Also, for a gluten-sensitive person, what an absolute joy to find ANYTHING remotely Cajun in a cream sauce without a roux. Happy dining!
Work luncheon went off without a hitch at Superior Grill on Government. I got lunch fajitas. Love the grilled meat and veggies. Can skip the flour tortillas if gluten- free or get corn tortillas instead.

City Cafe is good Cajun food in SE Baton Rouge. Great for business lunch. Their outdoor seating is open most days. In the evening, they have live music. They have a gluten-free menu.
This is a very cute coffee shop, great latte, homemade syrups- I tried the lavender and it was delicious! Their toasts are delicious, and they have Gluten Free options as well. It was exceptionally crowded, and full of students, and that wasn’t what I was looking for environmentally, but otherwise a great place!
My Mom loves the gluten-free pancakes and their hashbrowns. I do a delivery for her every day. Excellent service. The vegetable plate is a good choice too.
