I found out that the ‘meat’ is all made from pea protein. My Chick’n patty was delicious. The flavor and texture were excellent (I don’t normally eat meat substitutes, but was curious to try a lunch spot with vegan options.) My friend got the burger and said it was delicious. Fries were hot and crispy. Options available for vegan, dairy-free and gluten free. (I would recommend you ask your own questions regarding gluten free - not sure if this is suitable for celiac.) Will be back to try the Oreo Shake.
They have gluten-free waffles, pancakes, and toast. I had the pancakes . They had a wonderful maple seasalt butter on them, and I think they used a coconut base for the mix. They were fluffy, but just ok. I am super thankful that this restaurant gives the gluten-free world an option.
Found Cedarland Bakery while looking online for gluten free lunch options & decided to give it a try. So glad we did! The owner was at the counter & mentioned his nephew has a gluten allergy too so he was very knowledgeable and understanding. He showed us all he could prepare GF. We chose 4 different manaeesh and they were all delicious. Cedarland is a great bakery with many items to choose from. Will definitely be going in again.
Best restaurant has wonderful food and is gluten friendly which I appreciate.
There is a man who posted a negative review for this restaraunt, I happened to be eating at the time his complaint happened.
When you walk up directly behind a waitress without saying excuse me and she turns around with a coffee pot in her hand don't be surprised if it touches you.
Yelling and swinging your fanny pack around as you make your grand exit yelling you will be calling a lawyer is appalling. Then to return a few minutes later being rude to the owner threatening him with bad reviews on social media if he doesn't compensate you.. Makes it look like you did this on purpose.
The food is tasty and portion sizes are very good.
The one thing we we're very disappointed about was that on the TWO occasions we visited Modern Greek, we told them that we have a gluten allergy at our table, and they would proceed to tell us that "absolutely nothing" on their menu is gluten-free. We found this to be very odd because they have steaks, fish, salads, etc on their menu, but apparently all of the waiting staff believes that not one thing is gluten-free. You do not need to work in the restaurant industry to know that gluten is found in wheat/rye/barley, so there is not gluten in meats, vegetables, etc... Sadly, my wife (gluten-free) did not want to take the risk of ordering anything except the fattoush, and the waiting staff did not even want to make any effort to help figure something out for her. This lead us to believe that either:
A - they do not want to make any effort to try and customize even one food option to be made gluten-free, or
B - they truly do not even know what gluten is or care to know what it is so they just tell everyone "everything on their menu has gluten in it".
Either way, we felt like there was no effort being made into making sure that all of their customers can have a nice experience. Hoping that management will see this review so that their future customers with allergies can be offered even just a handful of choices at their restaurant.
We had food catered for our daughter’s graduation party, and had some gluten restriction and they did everything so well and put everything separately so nothing wouldn’t harm our family and friends. It was excellent service on them doing that for us in knowing they care for their customers. The boneless chicken had great flavor and very juicy and everything else was delicious and had plenty for all even for 2nd plates. We had our family and friends comment about the food so much and that where did we get it from and said they loved it so much that they are planning on going to eat themselves too. Thanks again to Cedarland for catering us above and beyond.
The menu here is excellent. It’s on a tablet, shows a photograph of each order and details allergens. We came for a nightcap after dinner and I was excited that they had a dairy and gluten-free dessert item (not on the menu). Nice surprise!
