a breath of fresh air on my trip to St. Louis, great vibe, relaxed, cool esthetic, bomb burger and fries, nice to find a gluten-free, vegan dessert (Oreo cheesecake)
Food was exactly what I want from a diner! Served suggested I try a quinoa pancake in lieu of toast to avoid gluten and it was good. Scrambled eggs with cheese were buttery. Hashbrowns and bacon were nice. The restaurant was packed but there were lounge chairs to sit in while we waited for an outside table. Saw some very cute dogs on the patio too!
We shared the sweet potato fries and I got the Ropa Vieja Beef Banh Mi sandwich. The
crinkle-cut sweet potato fries with are topped with chihuahua cheese and are served with a sweet curry aioli sauce for dipping. They are delicious. My Ropa sandwich was light on the braised beef brisket and it was served cold. I was expecting it to be served hot. It was rich with flavors. I tried their hibiscus tea and it was delicious. They have several gluten free and vegan options available. During the week the only option is street parking.
We recently hired the team at Brasserie to cater the desserts for our wedding. Due to an accident, half of our dessert was lost. Leanne made it a priority not only to go back to the restaurant and have them make even more than we originally ordered, but she also refunded part of our order AND gave us a gift card. The desserts were some of the best I’ve ever had. Guests were raving about the food, even the gluten-free options! 5/5 starts for going above and beyond to make our evening special.
