The cakes have gotten shorter and shorter and the quality is going down. This one had an obvious patch put on the side and it’s just not presentable when trying to impress someone with a gifted cake!
Just last summer the mini death by chocolate reached the top of the packing box and had perfect frosting (with pipping along the base, middle and top) Now you’re paying $16.75 for something barely larger than a grocery store muffin. I should’ve checked the price of the gluten free one because I believe that’s about $1-2 more and they all looked a bit melted at the base.
Really disappointed that I barely got one summer last year of having a decent bakery around. I added two photos of last years same death by chocolate (green and flower on top) those were taller, more cake than icing and honestly beautiful.
I hope improvements can be made because I recommend this place to everyone.
My dad and I both have celiac disease, so finding a safe place where we can enjoy food without fear has been a huge challenge. The Flying V has exceeded all expectations.
The kitchen isn’t “100% certified gluten free” since they do have items on the menu that contain gluten, I have not once experienced cross-contamination symptoms as a very symptomatic celiac. They’re incredibly accommodating and staff is very knowledgeable. There’s also an option when ordering to state you have a gluten allergy!
I’ve been going here for a little over 3 years now (my husband and I make the hour long drive about twice a month) and it’s been worth it every single time.
Oh man!! I had a blast eating outside with my family of 6 in the shady breeze at Roasted! We poked our heads inside & the music seemed a little loud but outside was perfect! The service was FANTASTIC & the waiters were SO friendly & helpful. They explained stuff like where they get their veggies & meat & everything from. My family has some HARDCORE vegans in it & this place has so many amazing vegan, vegetarian & gluten free options that were clearly marked on the menu & the names of the dishes were cute too. The vegan French toast was BANGING & I'm not a vegan so I was a smidge nervous. The prices were reasonable & i loved the colorful benches outside. Definitely glad i chose this place, it's so hard when some people are vegan & some aren't, but everyone in my family was very happy with the experience & totally recommend it!! Even the other customers were so nice to chat with here & there. 👍👍
Great place to grab a refreshing snack. Workers are courteous and the store is always clean. I have celiac and they offer gluten-free options and always change their gloves.
I have celiac and have to eat gluten free, and this is one of my favorite breakfast spots in the Lehigh Valley. I ordered the classic eggs benedict on a gluten free english muffin, and I have to say it’s my new obsession. I’ve been diagnosed celiac for over 10 years and this is one of the best breakfasts i’ve ever had. Anyone who is gluten free, I recommend you come here!
Great cozy coffee shop. Really like the local sourcing for lots of the items. The staff was friendly and masked. Our coffees were delicious and the gluten free brownie was soooo good! We'll be back!
Pleasantly surprised! Stumbled upon this place for lunch with my daughter who also needs gluten free options. The staff was very helpful in finding so many selections that are safe for her. The food was outstanding! I had the taco salad and my daughter had the jalapeño burger on GF bun. Finished with dairy free soft serve ice cream. Generous portion sizes and reasonable prices. We will make the trip to Bethlehem just to come here again!
The food was delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful. I have a gluten allergy and they were knowledgeable with the allergies. Didn't take any pictures of food but took a picture of the coffe
I went here with a fellow vegan friend on a Saturday late morning. We started off with a latte and both got the peppermint latte. It was very creamy and tasty. Next, I was feeling really hungry, so I ordered a coconut yogurt parfait. I am gluten free and I was surprised to see the granola in this was gluten free! This yogurt parfait was so delicious! I only ate half before my meal arrived. My friend got the chicken and waffles and said the flavor was amazing and the spice amount was just right. I got a gluten free waffle with lemon curd and blueberry jam on it. I also got the hash as an appetizer because it contained potatoes and the tofu scramble. I loved my meal so much! Everything was perfectly flavored. I was so happy after my meal and I ate the remainder of the yogurt later that day. I wasn’t going to leave without taking it with me!! Definitely go to this place. I am not from the area but I will be making a special drive back very soon!
The food was delicious. I and my partner had adequate options being non meat and gluten free diners. The service was great despite being quite busy. Would recommend.
My family stops here every time we're in the area. Everybody LOVES the crepes, and the fact that they can be done gluten free is really great for us since some of us have allergies.
This place is really good and have good Gluten free options too. Perfect for a morning date. The atmosphere was really pleasent and the food was really really delicious and fresh! We would love to visit again. Not to forget the service was really good and Jessica was great. We had a good time with our new born here :)
Of our five meals three were very good and two came out ok.
A generous portion of Gluten-free options are available if you ask.
Our two ok meals were the Traditional Dumplings and the Gyro sandwich. If the dump kings had less salt they would have been better, the gyro was just plain, nothing noteworthy.
For the three very good entrees we really liked the Red Cabbage Salad with an added skewer of Chicken. Our Soslu Patlican was the highlight of the meal and the Adana and Doner kabab entree was better than expected.
I wish I could give 10 stars. Tonight my family of 6 dined at Nonna Sulina for the first time and it did NOT disappoint!
Every item we ordered on the menu was absolutely top notch (it should be mandatory to try the Octopus Caponata & Arrancini) but our service from our server Andy was just as excellent and he was very considerate when I mentioned I have Celiac disease. We even had the opportunity to say hello to the owner and his two beautiful grand kids who were dining just behind us! We are already planning our next trip & can't wait to come back!
This is my second time here. I'm visiting from New Jersey. I chose a delicious gluten-free chocolate brownie with a cappuccino. Both were delicious. The servers were very friendly and helpful with suggestions. I tell all my friends about this place. It's terrific!😀
I came in as a walk-in with my brother after we both got out of our shifts dealing poker at windcreek. Honestly, I almost didn't even go but my brother was really hungry and suggested the place because we have both heard a lot of people speak highly of Zest and I am so glad we went. Immediately upon walking in you are hit with a very professional and upscale vibe to the place that impresses upon you the professionalism of the employees and the clear attention to detail put into everything. All of the staff are moving with purpose but not hurried and you know immediately that you can expect great service which is exactly what my brother and I got. Our server for the night was Hannah and the bartender we met after eating and going to the bar was Travis. Hannah was a perfect server, prompt but not pushy, knew the menu in and out and was able to answer all of our questions without a moments hesitation. She made my bro and I feel welcome and it was easy to relax into the quiet atmosphere and take in the amazing views of Bethlehem the restaurant offers with windows that wrapped around the restaurant and an outdoor eating balcony that I'm probably going to sit at next time. Looking at the menu it was almost impossible to make a choice given how great everything sounded and watching the kitchen staff through the pass window at work, it was immediately obvious the food was going to be high quality. I wasn't very hungry so my bro and I decided to just order a few drinks and a bunch of the apps to make a sort of mini tasting menu out of em. All in all we ended up ordering 8 different apps and everything was fantastic. I wasn't dissapointed about a single thing we ate and the way they put the dishes together and mix different flavors of savory to sweet to acidic, nothing ever felt too much or over the top. I seriously can not impress enough on whomever may be reading this, the apps absolutely slapped. I could go on and on, but I highly recommend the clams, the bao buns and the pork belly personally, but I doubt you could really go wrong. Also, on a side note, I have a girlfriend with celiac disease and finding a restaurant with a decent gluten free menu or options has been quite a challenge. Here at Zest, they have basically the whole entire menu but with small changes to accommodate gluten free allergies. I again, can not state enough how great Zest was from beginning to end. And speaking of the end, my bro and I decided to sit at the bar when everything was done being eaten to take a shot each of casa migos before leaving. This is where we met Travis, didn't spend much time at the bar but he helped bring full circle the customer service experience and professionalism felt here at Zest. The drinks were delicious, well priced and I can't remember the names of the two cocktails I ordered (shame on me) but they were well crafted and again, Travis knew what he was doing. All in all, will definitely be coming back here and bringing others with me. If you're in the Bethlehem area, there is no reason why not to try the fantastic restaurant.
Ps: I wish I took more photos of the apps as they came out, but I was having such a good time it totally slipped my mind. These photos are of the grilled octopus on rice cake, bone marrow, crab egg rolls, bao buns and empanadas. The drink with the purple flower was my favorite and tasted so good, it's a tequila drink and I wish I remembered the name
Edit: spelling errors and I think the drink with the purple flower was called heebeejeebees or something
