The food was great! Best diner food I've had in a long time. And I was soooo happy to see that there was gluten free options. The best gluten free french toast I have ever had! Whish I had taken a picture.
Stopped by Rosie’s as I haven’t been there in years. Brought my Mom as her favorite place closed down recently and she was looking for a new one. Needless to say, we found a new breakfast place for her. The place is just like I’d remembered it from years ago, the staff was amazing and super friendly and the food was perfect. Rosie’s has that old (clean) diner feel to it with 70s/80s country playing, the staff treating you like they’ve known you forever, and food cooked just like you’d expect. We had omelettes and they were great. You could tell they weren’t like other places that skimp and add in pancake batter (yep, some places do that). The omelettes were cooked perfectly and had a great balance of filling (I had a Denver, Mom went with ham and cheese). The hashbrowns were fantastic; crispy but not over done. Mom had a biscuit which she said was good and I had some gluten free toast (I’m not celiac, but the staff even made a point of letting me know they were giving my butter instead of margarine as that has gluten in it; didn’t expect them to go to that level but what a nice touch). Good luck trying to finish off a cup of coffee without getting it refilled; the staff are all over that and make sure you’re never looking at an empty cup. I’ve tried just about every breakfast spot (Rosie’s isn’t just breakfast though) between Longview and Washougal and Rosie’s ranks among the best of them.
Went here for the first time with it having new ownership and it was such a great experience. My daughter is Autistic and taking her places is hard because she can get overwhelmed or staff are impatient, but that was not the case at all! Ronda was so nice and her staff and they had a play area with sensory friendly toys that were perfect for my daughter. My daughter felt at home and wanted to stay and play. There was a baby play pen too and a changing area. It’s rare to find kid centered places and so this is such a great find. They had lots of coffee options and the coffee was yummy (I am very picky and loved it). They even had gluten free items which just was an extra win. We will definitely become regulars!
