Packed with a diverse menu, the vibe is lively, but service can be hit or miss, especially when things get busy.

I recently went to Birdys for my birthday. Had called in advance about celiac ( gluten free) left a message on the phone. When we arrived our server informed us they don't listen to the messages. Our waitress was rude maybe her experience was from slinging beer in a biker bar. When we ordered our entrees the pasta was to be gluten free. Then our orders arrived : no pasta for our guest. So we all ate our dinner while one person sat with no food for over 25 minutes! No complimentary drink nor on the bill. My beef was actually so tough my dog wouldn't eat the leftovers. It used to be a great place but never again.
I cannot eat gluten or dairy so it's hard to find restaurants that accomodate. I was very happy that they were able to make me a gluten and dairy free French toast! Thank you, it was delicious!
A beloved breakfast spot with lots of delicious options, quick service, and generous portions just off the 401 makes it worth the detour.

Went for breakfast (Friday ~11am). No wait for a table, however had to wait a little bit before being served/welcomed by staff. However once someone took care of our table service was quick and courteous. Food was tasty and they were aware of gluten allergies. They have gluten free toast and will serve breakfast potatoes without the spices in order to accommodate gluten allergies. Very accommodating and appreciated.
A must-visit for breakfast lovers, this spot offers a warm vibe, hearty portions, and unique menu options that leave a lasting impression.

We've stopped at this iHop a few times now while passing by on our way to, or from, Toronto. LOVE their gluten-friendly pancakes! We stick to weekdays when it's not as busy. A little pricey, like almost everywhere else these days, but worth the visit.
