I met with a group of friends and had a great meal a week ago. My friend had the steak on the specials board and said it was great (looked great!). Additionally, we ordered a couple of pizzas and a risotto. My Carni Amori pizza was delicious. I recommend the stag for a chilled evening with friends. The service was fab; all were attentive and did very well to cater to a vegan and a celiac, who were both made to feel comfortable and safe when ordering. Special mention to our waitress, Sianade, who was a breath of fresh air. 10% Service is included in the bill.

Service was very slow despite only having a handful of tables to serve. Not much choice if you need gluten-free - no gf potatoes of any type, just salad. It's quite expensive for what you get, but the burgers are cooked to your liking, which is a positive.

My husband and I have eaten here a handful of times and it’s always fantastic. The staff are lovely, the wine is great and the food is amazing. You can feel the passion and love in the food and at a very reasonable price. Gluten free options you wouldn't even realise are gluten free! We love this place and are already taking about what we will eat next time!

Beautiful interiors with lovely rustic feel. Even on a dark day, natural skylights made the place feel bright and airy. Very generous portions on the children's meals (just as well as I have very hungry children and normal small servings aren't enough for them!) beautiful roast including a non-gluten option (which just meant no Yorkshire pudding) Very happy for the price, will be visiting again!
