Nestled in the heart of Burnley, Bellissimo is a charming Italian cafe that has become my go-to spot for delightful gluten-free dining. The cafe’s commitment to quality and inclusivity shines through its extensive gluten-free menu, offering a variety of options that cater to all tastes without compromising on flavor. From the moment you walk in, the warm ambiance and the aroma of authentic Italian cooking welcome you. The gluten-free pasta dishes are a highlight, perfectly al dente and paired with rich, savory sauces that leave you wanting more. The staff’s knowledge about gluten-free requirements is commendable, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for those with dietary restrictions. Whether you’re gluten-intolerant or simply exploring healthier dining options, Bellissimo’s gluten-free menu is a testament to the cafe’s dedication to its patrons’ needs. It’s a rare gem that proves you don’t have to sacrifice taste for dietary choices. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a taste of Italy with the comfort of gluten-free goodness!

Came for an anniversary meal out with our two children, one with ASD. Staff were very friendly and informative. Food was delivered quickly and the kids make your own pizza, It was very interactive for our boys who loved the whole experience. Prices were not cheap but neither was the quality and I feel it reflected well on what was delivered to us with good timing. I had tagliatelle lamb and my wife gluten free Carbonara, again excellent. Only niggle was it got loud but not overly so. We will be back again.

First visit on a Friday night meal in town, just having drinks & check the place out. A lovely atmosphere with plenty of seating, beautiful interior. Outside before entry there is a Menu board, I was delighted to be informed they also cater for Vegans & Gluten Free menu. Had a lovely slice of Lemon drizzle cake, other friends had beer/wine from the bar, also hot drinks available. Open from am all day various food is available.

Went to have breakfast here this morning while waiting for tyres on my car. We chose this place as it has gluten free options for my wife. Two of us chose crepes one with bacon and one with lemon and sugar. The other two chose sausage and bacon sarnies. Food arrived very quickly as well as drinks. The place was clean and very quiet. Everyone enjoyed their food and the young blonde lady on the till was lovely, very polite and very accommodating. All staff were friendly and everything was tasty. The only thing I disliked was it was quite smoky from the frying and Zi could feel it on my asthma but wasn't overwhelming and will try again soon.

Wilfred's is a fine dining restaurant with an elegant and plush decor, there has been no expense spared here. The menu prices reflect the environment and so this is not somewhere for a rushed dinner and is not cheap. Wilfreds have a vegan menu but as we have been several times now, it is getting boring and it does need updating to include some new dishes. Desserts need to be pre ordered which I do not like, I cannot understand this as it would be easy to incorporate vegan desserts on the main menu and no one would any the wiser. I ordered the taster board and mushroom and leek risotto and hubby ordered the cauliflower pakoras and dukkah spiced aubergine. The food was delicious, although some of the naan type bread on the taster board was dry and I think it was gluten free so may contain egg so I left it, but there was plenty. The pakoras were delicious as were the rest of the dishes. Its great they offer a vegan menu but it needs a change but we would go back and its a lovely venue for a special occasion like a birthday.
