Stopped here for some brunch and was pleasantly surprised at this restaurant find! Clearly marked menu with gluten free items, laid back atmosphere, large indoor space with many tables, and a smaller covered outdoor seating area. Plenty of parking on street and they do also have a parking lot. We will be back.
We came in during rush hour but were still served fairly quickly. We ordered calzones, which were great. It's awesome that they have gluten-free pizzas. We ended up having the chicken pesto one, which was pretty tasty. They also have outdoor seating with views of Alki Beach. Great experience overall!
This place always has a line so I had high expectations! Pretty okay quick breakfast place. Tasty gluten free bread but main sandwich was kind of bland. Ordered the works but it was mostly lettuce. Would have been better if it had a piece of meat or some cheese. The meat is in the egg. Coffee is okay as well, not bad. Husband had smoked salmon bagel and said it was okay as well. Decent for quick service! Probably wouldn't go out of the way to return.
Breakfast here is a good choice for Alki beach! The water view gives the spot a huge advantage. If it’s a warm day, opt for the front or side decks for people
Watching. When we arrived, Denice gave us the best indoor seat in the house. She was kind and thoughtful and really added value to our meal experience. I enjoyed the salmon omelet with homemade potatoes. I also opted for gluten free toast. I was happy they had a gf option but its 50cents extra for one single toast. The food was good. My partner had the large breakfast. everything was average. The best part of the meal was the bacon Bloody Mary, very yummy and strong. Generous with the vodka, not so generous with the gluten free toast. Oh and great drip coffee! Stop by for a classic diner-esque meal, with a beachy twist. The menu is extensive and I’m sure it’ll have something you like. Cheers!
Same place different location. The coffee you expect with quick food ready for on the go. Love that they have dairy free and gluten free options. Not a lot of items, but more thN most.
I picked this place because someone else gave them a rave review on gluten free pizza and a margarita. They play good music. One restroom was out of order. The other was just a little unpleasant. The whole place needs updating. The benches in the booths are all torn up. It’s dimly lit, but if you pay attention to detail you can see the need for updates. The bartender greeted me and I sat down in a booth. She was quick to get my order and brought my drink. They have a cool drink menu and I went with the G.I.F. (Girl From Ipanima). The waitress basically tossed my pizza on the table and took off but she turned back when I thanked her. I sensed there was some tension in the place. The smell of pizza is heavenly. The toppings were great but the crust was so thin and hard, I could barely cut it. I realize that’s probably not their fault. I hope they find a better one. I finished my drink. The server offered a box, I said yes please. She came back with my pizza in a bix and tossed the check in the table and grabbed my empry drink glass and my unfinished water. Wow. She never asked if I wanted another drink (I don’t because I’m driving), but she could have left my water while I sit here and wait for her to come back and get my payment. At this time, all the business is at the bar. I’m the only fool sitting at a table waiting for her to come back.
