I almost never go into town, but I will more regularly to go to this cafe. I'm not on a plant-based diet, but that doesn't matter - their selection is huge, healthy and delicious, service excellent. (Also tons of gluten free options)
A beautiful, cozy cafe! We had breakfast in the café and absolutely loved it. There are many vegan and vegetarian options. I had the granola and can recommend it to everyone. The taste is simply indescribably delicious! Plus fresh vegan yogurt and almond milk. Also fruit paste and fresh fruit included. There are plant-based milk alternatives to choose from. The food was really nice and carefully prepared. Therefore it tastes and looks great! Since we were so excited, we took our lunch to go with us: the vegan panini and a “vegan and gluten free peanut chocolate bar/cake”. I still dream about both of them now because they were so delicious! The panini had a delicious vegetable patty. The chocolate cake/bar was so creamy and delicious! If I had the opportunity, I would definitely be a regular customer of the café! Therefore a recommendation from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for this great breakfast experience!
I ordered a Gluten free burger(allergy) and received a normal bun.
Rang and was offered a replacement or vouchers and opted for a replacement.
The replacement had aioli which our original order did not have, and the service by Lex was rude and she tried to charge for the replacement
Plenty of Gluten free cupboard options which i really appreciate as most cafes only offer if at all gluten free brownies from the cupboard. Decent coffee and friendly service will be back :)
Great service . I needed gluten free food and needed to educate the waitress that the fries were not gluten free if they were cooked in a fryer with gluten. So.if you are gluten free/coeliacs don't get their frys. But the rest of the meal was tasty and brilliant
Popular place and we were nearly put off by all the tables being reserved in advance. But fortunately we went in and it was great. They have a few vegan and gluten free options including a salad, cauliflower bites, a vegan lasagne, and fries plus others that could be made vegan/gf. Worth a visit but be aware the coffee is expensive at $9 for a large decaf flat white.
We we disappointed in the quality of the food on this visit. We had 2 hybrid combos, both came with badly burnt kumera fries. The egg on one burger was burnt and the bacon on the other burger. We also ordered a gluten free burger which was fine apart from the bread was so stale that my partner rated it the worst burger she ever had.
We frequent this store fairly regularly and have not experienced this before, so I called to see what they would say about the quality of the meal. Unfortunately I got a machine as they were too busy to take the call.
Not Impressed all, there are plenty of other options for take out, I may not go back after this as there is nothing fun about having takeout at home and it being yuck!
Really impressed with the service, especially as I'm now one of those difficult people that can't eat gluten or dairy. But they were more than happy to help and offer alternatives.. Awesome team 👍👍
Lovely for a bite to eat on the way through. Cabinet food was too expensive at $15 for each item so ended up just having cheese scones. Very limited gluten free choices. Coffee was fab but had to have a long black as the non cow's milk options were all Alternative brand which makes an ikk cuppa. Friend had a cow's milk latte and liked it. Music was very loud, but vibe was cool inside.
