Really enjoyed our late lunch at Ed's Burger Joint in Hattiesburg!! Fun atmosphere. Food was great!! Ed's has gluten free options which accommodated my husband's Celiac Disease. Special care was given to assure no cross contamination!

Our meal was delicious. I have celiac disease and always appreciate the GF Ace cider on tap and the GF buns. I love the Jalapeño Popper burger! Their fried pickles are also GF, though there is a cross contamination risk with the frier. Solid choice! Staff was excellent initially, but as the dinner crowd trickled in (we got there at 4:30), our waitress went MIA and my husband’s second drink didn’t come out until we were literally asking for the check a good 30 minutes after he ordered it. Otherwise we were pleased!

We had lunch today and had exceptional service. My son has celiac, and they are able prepare food that is safe for him to eat. We spoke with the manager, Nick, and he was very helpful. He recommended that we always have them put celiac on the ticket so that they will know to take the extra precautions needed. He said he has trained the staff to be able to handle food allergies. This is very much appreciated when it can be very difficult to find safe places to eat.

The food was incredible and the atmosphere was, too! They handled my food carefully and it was, truly, gluten free. I highly recommend checking out the shed.
