I adore the carbonara from here, and the pizza is amazing. However, you can tell that they do not use Italian pasta, as non-Italian pastas use flours containing pesticides that is often the cause of people believing that they have gluten intolerance when really, it is just the flour used. This is fine, I don't mind getting gluten-free pasta instead.
The real killer, however? The price. For a family of four who each get a main meal (which is decently sized but not above average) and one drink each, and perhaps a serve of garlic bread, it easily comes to $200+. Yes, it's nice food, but for the quality of the ingredients used, the prices are ridiculous. We can hardly ever afford to eat here, as much as we love it.
If price is not an issue for you, I definitely recommend it, but it's sad how much of a hole one meal from here burns in our pocket.
We visited on boxing day.
Being a busy & touristy location, I was hesitant.
However, I was pleasantly surprised.
Food was lovely & so was the staff.
They have gluten free options & lactose free milk.
Food was a little exxy, but you are paying for the location as much as the food.
Definitely recommend if you're in the hood.
