I use to love coming here. Upon my recent visit I waited and waited and waited, then I just took the liberty to seat myself and waited some more. The lady behind the register kept looking into space , totally oblivious of her surrounds. Finally after a good 17 minutes I was acknowledged by another. I ordered my usual “Gluten free Croque Monsieur”, and it was awful. It is suppose to have bechamel and mustard. The bechamel was like mash potato and the whole sandwich lacked flavour. This is not the Croque I use to have. So sad.

This place is so overpriced! We paid $20 for a gluten free sandwich yesterday, which used the crust of a supermarket packet of bread- tiny portion! Further coffee is awful and service slow. Give a big miss.

Have been here numerous times for coffee and cake or breakfast and each time it's fabulous. The food is excellent and extremely fresh and also caters for my husband who is a coeliac vegetarian. The staff are delightful and we will continue to return

Great spot for your post hike recharge. We grabbed a coffee and tea. Coffee was very nice, no issues with my flat white. Tea was loose leaf in a pot by Tea Tonic. I was a bit skeptical of the low gluten sign out the front but there's actually a really lovely note on the start of the menu explaining how they handle gluten free, have a dedicated fryer and cater for coeliacs. Highly recommend. Also there's a wood fire, handy for our wintery morning.
