This is some of the best gluten free food I have ever had in my 10 years of being gluten free!! Such kind service, delicious pastries, the karaage is life changing, I could go on and on. The turnip cakes are so delightful as well. The vegan delight and the oriental vegan plate are filling, hearty, and nourishing above all. Also, the handmade sodas are so tasty, such a nice addition to the meal. Please eat here!!! You will not regret it. I came here 3 times in my 4 days in Nara, and I’m sad it was only 3 times. I wish I knew the names of the people who run this place, they are so kind and make stellar food. I’m so enthusiastic about this place, what a highlight of my trip!! I will be back someday <3

As a coeliac with limited Japanese vocabulary, it was great to have the food on display clearly labelled with GF. Strong recommendation for any gluten suffers looking for a bite to eat.

Total rip-off. I lived in Japan 20 years ago and came back with friends 12 years ago and I never ate in a restaurant where the experience was bad. I suppose that the explosion of tourism in the last years inevitably brought with it tourist rip-offs, to which not even Japan seems to be inmune. We ordered the soups which turned out to be pasta with some sauce in a bit of soup. It was edible, in the same way that it is edible the pasta I cook at home in 15min. But here it was 12 euros per person (and half the size) plus 6 euros for a lemonade, which, again, it was not bad, but the price was not at all justified. We came here because one of us is a celiac, and, while the food indeed seemed gluten-free, this is certainly a place to avoid.
