Brot is one of, if not the best coffee places in Orange. Besides the coffee which can't be beat, they have a really great selection including gluten free bread for your avocado toast, and sugar free almond milk. It gets busy on the weekends but trust me, it's worth your while!

They were great at modifying things to be gluten free and made sure I had an awesome evening. It may be in a resort, but this is a place to go any time you want a great steak paired with excellent service. Not cheap... but worth it.

I recently ordered the gluten free Le Champignon crepe (with eggs, mushrooms, caramelized onion, spinach, goat cheese, avocado, & house aoili spread, added pesto) through Doordash, & I really enjoyed it! The gluten free crepe batter is yummy! I can't wait to go back & try another one! I I also got a side salad with balsamic vinegar & it was good, what you would expect. I only wish they had roasted herb potatoes, that would make a perfect brunch!

A lovely and very cozy café down an alley in the Orange circle. The woman working here is very polite, kindly points out what they're offering, and is more than happy to discuss further details of the ingredients. They have a selection of 7 organic teas (2 uncaffeinated) and their coffee is a dark roast. They offer pastries, desserts, and milk based fruit smoothies. They had 3 gluten free options when I went, all made with almond flour. Everything looks very fresh and my order tasted absolutely delicious. I tried a coffee and several pastries. I had their Spanish latte, which has milk, espresso and condensed milk. As a very casual coffee drinker who enjoys sweet Starbucks drinks this was definitely reminiscent of that. It's more refined with their fresh espresso, but sweet enough for my tastebuds without being the sugar fest I'm used to. The dark roast is still able to really come through while maintaining a smooth flavor. Absolutely recommend it. The pastries I ordered were the guava and cream cheese puff, the hazelnut croissant, and a peanut butter cookie. I really do recommend everything I tried and would expect the quality to be equal throughout the offerings. The cream puff was large, light and flaky, and had a good ratio of cream cheese to guava. It had a nice moistness of the dough. The croissant was a medium size, thick and crispy, flaky, and had a good layer of chocolate hazelnut cream. The cookie was topped with chocolate chunks, had a nice nutty flavor, and was well sized, about the same as my palm. The edges were nicely crisped and the inside lightly moist so it wasn't too heavy or mushy in the mouth. It felt very community, corner café with just a few tables inside and a number of tables open in the alley outside. The morning was quiet, with just a few people inside including myself and people intermittently passing through. The lunch hour was busier, but no one was ever left waiting for longer than 5 minutes. The pricing is affordable and guaranteed you'll spend less than $10, but you'll always want to spend more. If you're in the area and looking for a small treat and drink to relax or do some work, then this is absolutely the place you're looking for.
