Absolutely wonderful experience overall. They have plenty of options for most, including vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free (vegan/gluten free) being hard to find. The atmosphere and view of the lake were great as well. Very clean, nice bathrooms, friendly staff, book adoption for small price, and a dietary restriction diverse pastry selection too! We will definitely be coming back.
Long line, but it moved quickly! They did a great job of safely scooping my ice cream, and they had gluten-free waffle cones - yum!
I had dark chocolate & turtle!
Really nice place with lots of alcoves to choose from to get cozy in. Spacious with lots of local decor. The marketplace is a nice addition too where you could find gifts of different types. Good selection of teas and coffees as well as gluten free bakery. The burrito bowl was a good brunch option.
First time trying this place. I was looking for a gluten free sandwich and got the breakfast sandwich. It was just ok, nothing special, but the gluten free chocolate chip cookies were really good!
Really friendly and knowledgeable folks. Has a drive thru window on the side of the building as well in case you are wondering. Gluten free options and dairy free products as well. The espresso shots are 🔥 so give your drink a bit to cool or ask for a milder brew or ice if you need to. I liked the heat...lasted our entire drive up north. Worth the stop and we will be back!
Nice coffee shop downtown. Tables available out front. I had the lavender latte and my husband had a drip coffee. He said the burrito was fantastic. They modified the breakfast bowl to be gluten free for me. Two coffees and breakfast = $48.
Note to owner: please put a table for the cream and sugars so you don't have to mix it on the trash can. Also, another person could have been used this morning to keep up with the dirty tables and dishes. A screen door would be helpful to keep the flies out of the space.
While up in Duluth on holiday, my husband and I discovered this delightful coffee shop and game store. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. They immediately made us feel welcome and gave great recommendations. The shop itself includes a lower level cafe and an upper level gaming area with board games and tables. Between my husband and myself, four types of coffee drinks, a pastry, and a cookie were tried. All of these were outstanding. The names of the drinks, which reference various games and pop culture, are beyond charming. I would recommend the Sylveon, not just because it is my favorite Pokemon, but because the honey and lavendar flavors were spectacular. My husband would highly recommend the chocolate gluten-free cookie and the Bantha Milk coffee. This will be one of our go-to places anytime we are in Duluth.
