Ordered takeout. Process was easy and quick. Food arrived fresh and warm. I love that everything is gluten-free but the flavor wasn't for me. All five of my tacos were overtaken by a sweetness that made it hard to discern the flavor difference between them. I prefer savory tacos.
Ordered probably half the menu by now. My favourite thing surprisingly is the tofu and I order it every time. I’m celiac and love how comprehensive the menu is. Most gf menus eliminate more than half the options. Actually forgot to order one dish (via skip) gluten free and they called to double check. I spent a lot but so good I always order a lot! 10 out of 10!

We dropped in here for some drinks and appetizers. We tried the fully-loaded crispy potatoes, beet-humus dip, and fries +dips. The fully-loaded potatoes were so incredibly good I ended up ordering two. The dish was cooked three ways, crisp, balanced flavor, and some added kick from the Jalapeno. The beet hummus was okay but could have used more seasoning. I tried the watermelon sling that tasted light, I would've maybe preferred it have more tangy/sour flavor, but it was still good. My friend loved her margaritas. Our waitress was quite pushy to make us leave when the restaurant was practically empty 🙃. However, another waitress made up for it when she brought us shots for a life event we were celebrating🎉. I'd definitely come here again and try more dishes. I'd highly recommend the fully-loaded potatoes. The menu surprisingly had many gluten-free and vegetarian options.
Had their heartbeet bowl for a gluten-free option. It was delicious and gorgeous to look at before digging in. It looked so good I was interrupted 3 times early in my meal to be asked what I had ordered, it looked so appetizing. Staff was cool and accommodating to my questions about gluten-free options.
The food was clean and absolutely delicious. The service was exceptional, they let me make a take out order 30 minutes before close and served me lemon water while I waited. The atmosphere was great they had wifi and a trickling stream by the register. All gluten free options were indicated on the menu and the entire menu was totally vegan. 10/10 loved the whole experience.

Went for a work trip dinner, and it was very tasty! My coworkers with no food allegiance allergies really liked the mushrooms and ribs appies.
Had multiple gluten-free and some gluten and dairy free options. Fryer is nominally gluten-free, but they fry a lot of shellfish in it. They even had GF vegan carrot cake as a dessert option, which was a pleasant surprise.
Beautiful restaurant in a great area. Our server Thor was incredibly resourceful and on top of things. I had the arugula burrata salad, and it was not my favourite thing I’ve ever had. I really did not enjoy the tomatoes in it, maybe I had a bad batch but they were so mushy, way too salty, and tasted rancid. I had to pick them all out they were terrible. I really enjoyed the burrata especially with the gluten free toast. It looked better than the baguette it is supposed to come with, and it was very crunchy. The rest of the salad was okay, but I couldn’t get past the tomatoes.
We went for the first time on Saturday night and it was spectacular! Not just the food, but also the staff and service. I am celiac and everything was explained and there were many gluten free options. We had a wonderful experience and will be back!
Staff are very informative and friendly. Kind of an upscale food court setting. Food was good, a little cold and small portions. The burger place right beside it is owned by the same people, and the fries are gluten free and absolutely amazing. Very crunchy, and well salted. I had the El Pastor tacos, which were topped with nice pickled onions and I believe mangos. Not authentic by any means, but a nice light lunch.
The food was alright. They had trouble getting it all out at the same time for our group of ten. There is a good selection of gluten free options. The game selection was excellent including multiples of classic games and someone on staff helping out with recommendations.
I was visiting with some friends and this restaurant was highly recommended to us and it did not disappoint! Great service and delicious food. They don’t list gluten free bread as an option on their menu but they do have it! I had the Turkish eggs and it was phenomenal. They don’t take reservations but we got there right at 9am and was able to get seated right away. Otherwise be prepared for a long wait.
Fun, vibrant, diverse market along the river. Located in proximity to the relaxation of nature and the bustle of the city, this is a place where you can find literally everyone and anything. From a quick stop to a day out, The Forks Market is a quirky place to eat, shop, or hang out. As far as food, you have options from many cuisines, and there are different allergy-friendly options available. Eat gluten-free waffles as you try on dresses and browse the flavors of maple syrup. Go outside and watch trains pass while you sit by the river. Bike the trails. Meet new people. This market offers everything.
I had my wedding at Saddlery on Market. Roula and company are amazing. Roula was patient, easy to deal with, and made sure that my day went as best as it possibly could. She is very easy going, and has tons of experience throwing parties for larger crowds.
The venue was clean, organized, and decor was set up the way I had asked. She catered the menu to my guests dietary needs, which included vegetarian, gluten free, dairy free and peanut allergies. The food was fabulous. We started the night with appetizers. They were served by staff to tables throughout our cocktail hour. We had a buffet style dinner. The food was hot, delicious, and served by staff. Finally, our late night snack was poutine and it was so good. Liquor prices and drinks were priced accordingly and reasonably. The bartenders were hilarious and loved engaging with all the guests.
The venue itself had alot of space for people to mingle and we also used the separate party room for our ceremony and dance floor. Brides - you do not need a lot of decor here. The space is already phenomenal. There are some ambiance lighting throughout the main area which really made the vibe romantic.
I hired the DJ that Roula recommended - sensational sound ( Carlos) and I was not disappointed. He was awesome. Knew the venue, knew how the mechanics of the place worked, set up properly, so we had no technical issues. He kept the party going all night with great tunes. I would for sure recommend him as well.
It rained a bit on our day so we had some pictures outside - and the alleyway behind the restaurant is stunning. We then did pictures in the corner of the venue, and with the brick and moody lighting, they turned out amazing.
If you are looking for a space that is accommodating, safe, welcoming, and just a relaxed and pleasant wedding planning experience - I would recommend Saddlery 100%.
Thanks again to Roula and everyone at Saddlery who really made our day special!
So fun to go there and enjoy the buffet! They had some good gluten free options and different serving spoons for each. They showed me each dish that was gluten free so that I could lineup with the others. I can’t recall if the items had a gf label... I don’t think they did, but that would be a welcome addition. I will definitely go back!
We visited Kevin’s Bistro for the first time today to celebrate my nephew and a friend’s graduation. With a party of about 25 people, the evening couldn’t have gone better. From start to finish, everything was handled beautifully.
My wife and I arrived early and were seated right away—great service from the outset. I appreciated their local touch with a beer selection from Good Neighbour Brewing. The “Hazy IPA” was a standout.
The staff were outstanding. Matt and Jen were our main servers and did a fantastic job. Even though we didn’t catch all the names, it was clear the entire team worked together seamlessly. Everyone was friendly, professional, and on the ball.
As for the food—absolutely delicious! Our group ordered a wide variety of menu items, and not a single person had a complaint. My wife and I shared the “Steak Chimichurri” appetizer. The steak was perfectly tender, and the flavor was spot on. We only wished there was a bit more chimichurri sauce to go around—just a small detail, but otherwise a hit.
My wife enjoyed the Pasta Alfredo and liked the subtle touch of nutmeg. I had the Buffalo Chicken Cauliflower Flatbread (gluten-free), and it did not disappoint. It had a kick, but the heat didn’t overpower the great mix of flavors. I also really appreciated the number of gluten-free options on the menu.
The Mac and Cheese was another crowd favorite—several people tried different versions and raved about the taste. One surprise hit was the mussels, which are only available when in stock. Those who ordered them early were very pleased, but a few latecomers missed out—so if you see them on the menu, don’t wait!
Despite the restaurant being full and one of their ovens being out of commission, our entire party was served quickly and efficiently—just like the other tables around us. That really speaks to the professionalism and coordination of the kitchen staff. Truly impressive.
They also offer a dessert selection from Stella’s, though most of us were too full to indulge.
The ambiance was great, and we loved that the kitchen was open and visible—very clean and professional. In fact, we literally gave the kitchen staff a round of applause, along with our servers and the bartending crew. They all truly deserved it.
A fun little detail: don’t bother asking to meet Kevin—he’s actually a cat, and his portrait can be found on the back wall. 🐈
All in all, we highly recommend Kevin’s Bistro and will definitely be returning. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. You won’t be disappointed.
Great menu. All I ask of a restaurant as a gluten-free person is to have a great chicken sandwich I can order without bread. They delivered! Awesome French fries. Everyone else's meals were delicious. Fun atmosphere and great service. What more could you want!
We had an amazing Valentine’s Day dinner at Cordova on Friday! our server Isabelle was 10/10 , very friendly and helpful with explaining the vday menu. Lots of gluten free options and we loved the corn salad
We were really looking forward to dining here, especially given its reputation as one of the top-rated restaurants in Canada. Unfortunately, our experience was deeply disappointing — especially for a place of this caliber.
We had noted a gluten-free dietary restriction on our reservation, as the restaurant specifically requests this in advance. Despite that, when we arrived, it was clear no one had read or prepared for it. Our server was unsure which dishes were gluten-free and had to check with the kitchen multiple times — which might have been understandable at a casual place, but for a restaurant with this reputation, it felt disorganized and inattentive.
It’s a four-course tasting menu, and I was shocked at the lack of flexibility. The first course had only one option (bison), which I don’t eat, and the final course had no gluten-free options at all. The server showed no interest in trying to accommodate us and didn’t offer any alternatives or substitutions. While he didn’t say it outright, the attitude was essentially: not my problem.
The only redeeming part of the experience was the drinks — they were excellent. But unfortunately, that’s all we ended up having before we left hungry and disappointed.
We wanted to love this place, and maybe others have had a better experience, but ours fell far below expectations, especially when it comes to hospitality and accommodating dietary needs. I hope they take feedback like this to heart — because right now, the experience doesn’t match the hype.
Fun atmosphere friendly staff to help serve you best with an array of Mexican cuisine including gluten-free and vegan options . Live music as well on certain days🎶
I was a first time vistor of Hermanos last night. I was pleasanty surprised with the menu choices that offered Gluten Free options.
What "made" the evening for me was the SHORT, knowledgeable discussion with our server as to how any of my choices would be prepared. His unassuming, efficient manner added to the beginning of a wonderful evening............and excellent food, of course!
Best Falafel! Super tasty rice and very fresh tabouleh salad! I really appreciated that they made the effort to offer delicious gluten free options! Wonderful!
Had great service that was fast and super friendly. The food was delicious and it’s great to find a place with a variety of gluten free foods, esp dessert!
We went for a friend’s birthday dinner and the service was horrible and the food was like food court pasta. They couldn’t accommodate gluten free or even split bills. They rushed is out before our allotted time and the manager refused to rectify our issue. There are great spots in the exchange, so avoid this one
We ordered Lunch Catering off of King + Bannatyne for a staff meeting. Everything was amazing. The sandwiches, sides, salads, soups were all incredible. The delivery was awesome and there were gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan options.
Nice and clean. Food was great. They even adjusted the chicken bowl I wanted to be gluten-free. The man behind the counter also went through the ingredients list of available sauces to ensure that everything in my meal was gluten-free which is rare for a fast food style restaurant.
Great ice cream, had the salt caramel. Line was very long, not a deal breaker though It’s okay. They had checked the icecream to make sure it didn’t contain gluten which was good. Will be back to try other flavours in the future
