Had a lovely lunch here yesterday- late February - such a cozy spot with warm ambience; as much created by the space as by the staff with ever ready smiles and friendly demeanour. Tomato soup was just perfect with a superb salad. I purchased a gluten free croissant and I was thrilled beyond measure to find it actually taste and feel just like a regular croissant!! That’s a first for me. My husband got a no sugar added treat with dates and raisins and thoroughly enjoyed it too. Couldn’t recommend this place highly enough! Thank you for a great experience!

Super welcoming, warm staff. The cappuccino
is excellent! The gluten-free wrap (veggie pâté) also. Nice shop where you can find beautiful quality products. Thank you 🙏
We went here for breakfast and we were very impressed with the cozy and calm atmosphere, the beautiful plates, and most importantly the very FRESH tasting and thoughtful dishes. My girlfriend and I kept telling each other how good our meal was and how happy we were to have found this place. Extremely accommodating for gluten and dairy free restrictions (very fresh gluten free and dairy free bread). We will definitely be back here when we are in the area and tell all our friends about it. Thank you to the wonderful staff!
We have celiac disease, and while they don't have many gluten free options, their breakfast is safe! They have gluten free bread, their potatoes and sausages are gluten free.
The staff is amazing. Very French but they do understand and speak English. We love coming here!
Their other menu items are delicious as well. We've been coming here on vacation for years and have never had complaints!
I am gluten intolerant. Breakfast potatoes are breaded so not GF. I was given extra fruit to compensate. I asked for GF toast (ok to toast in regular toaster since I am not celiac) and asked that bread be fully toasted. Sadly, toast were cold and barely toasted. I commented and left the bread in my plate but was still charged 1.50. Disappointing. The rest of my party’s food was good. Food and coffee need to be hotter.
I was really expecting alot from this restaurant. We had asked our server about Gluten Free options and either the server did not understand us or he just was not informed enough about the menu. My gf is seriously gluten sensitive. We asked if the escargot could be made gluten free he also stated yes even though it came with a flaky pastry in the bowl with the sauce. After this happened she decided to order the beef cheek which came with a salad. He brought it with a caesar salad croutons and all even though we had stated that she is gluten free. This leads to the $27 hamburger i ordered which looked exactly similar to a Costco like beef patty on a cheap bun and frozen French fries. Seriously not impressed. If you're charging $27 for a hamburger and fries.. Fresh daily should be the standard. Please do better.
Honestly this place was incredible, the food was amazing and unique, the service was great and the place was very quaint. We had dinner for a birthday and it was above our expectations. Truly a must for locals and visitors alike. A memorable dinning experience, we will be back! Thank you Lo Cal for an amazing evening
(They also had a lot of gluten free options!! I could eat most things off the menu which was another awesome factor)
