Horrible experience! We waited over an hour for food after being told it would take 10–15 minutes, with no apology at all. My partner has celiac disease and we were shocked to see they used the same equipment for all orders, just wiping it down with a cloth. We also noticed that they also mixed up a gluten-free order. This place is not safe for celiacs, despite what they say! Avoid if you need true gluten-free.

Great food. Gluten free fries. I have a tree nut allergy and was very comfortable eating here. No nuts in the kitchen except for peanuts!

As someone with Celiac Disease, eating in restaurants while travelling can be tricky. Reykjavik Kitchen was exceptional in every definition of the word. Not only was the service great, the meal (beef tenderloin) was mouth watering. The menu is clearly indicated GF where applicable and they had many options. I plan on coming back here several times as they have a few other traditional items I would like to try, such as lamb and meat soup. And they had GF bread with the delicious butter.

Five stars across the board! Food was incredible, staff was delightful, and the kitchen was so accommodating for my dairy and gluten allergies. Had the lamb tartare, the arctic char, and the roast potatoes with chimmichuri. Honestly, wish I would have eaten dinner here also because it was so good. Strongly recommend visiting if you’re looking for a fabulous bite to eat in a very nice environment.

Lovely food, very fresh and tasty. I advised I was gluten free and they talked through the menu which was also labelled. Provided some great gluten free bread when they brought over the bread basket for everyone else which I really appreciated. One of our party tried it and said they preferred it to the regular bread (which was also apparently really good). I would definitely return here when I next visit Reykjavik.
