We were visiting and in search of a place with Gluten Free options and good BBQ. We found it! Calhoun's was a great recommendation. It is a casual type of restaurant. Our server, Travis was delightful! He was very prompt and double checked my order (white chili, lemon grilled chicken, & baked potato) to be safe for my allergy. Also my boyfriend ordered the Brisket which he loved. He is usually very picky on tenderness and flavor. They also have a variety of drinks and are also freshly squeezed, no sour mix here. Lovely!

Pleasantly surprised by this spot! Stopped in for dinner on the last day of our trip, wish we came here sooner! As someone with food allergies, this restaurant was the absolute best at handling it the whole time I've been down here. They had an allergy card written out and stapled to our order, and they were able to tell me what options were and were not safe. Also, no additional charge for gluten free wrap! They handle allergies well, have really good food and good portions, all for completely reasonable prices (~$15 a person for a full dinner meal).
