Vibrant destination spot with specialty cocktails, quirky outdoor bar, cool patio vibes, and a rustic golden hue enveloping its outdoor setting.
This restaurant was listed in a Gluten-Free app as a great place for Gluten-Free eating, so my friend and I had to try it. Friend has Celiac and eating out can be exhausting. We were very excited about a menu with lots of options and especially a fryer dedicated to gluten-free to avoid cross contamination. Well I didn't do much research in advance as Friend had already done it, so I def thought I was heading to a dive bar... and I dressed for it. Spoiler alert - this is NOT a dive bar. The Golden Hoosier is absolutely radiant! Big lovely booths, dark walls and vibe, taxidermy everywhere! Yes I said taxidermy. No this isn't the standard deer heads and turkey tails, this is taxidermy of every kind you could imagine, including one teeny tiny bird we spotted, an alligator and much more in between! I did enjoy looking at all the different taxidermy. We ordered drinks - White Russian for me, El Fuego for her. Sadly neither of us loved them. White Russian is my go-to drink so I've had a lot of them... this one tasted solely of Kaluha and wasn't very good. I dare to say I almost didn't finish it, but I had to due the price tag. They have a cool drink menu here - be prepared to PAY for that cool menu. Note that I did order a drink off menu. Friend also sadly didn't love the El Fuego and didn't finish it... For meals we both got the fried chicken sandwich - her GF bun and fries, me with queso mac n cheese. This fried chicken sandwich was AMAZING! LOVED that is was breaded and GF for my friend. It had pepperjack - which is my fave on a chicken sandwich - and it has sweet and spicy pickles and they were perfection. I picked my pickles off and ate em first because I loved them so much! They had ranch for dipping and it was homemade, HEAVY on dill. I liked it, I didn't love it. It was still nice to dip my chicken into :) Friend really enjoyed the fries. I liked the queso mac n cheese but it wasn't great. It was missing something, needs some kind of spice profile. Even pepper could improve it. Service here was nothing to rave about. Yes we had a server, yes they asked our orders, brought drinks and food and cleared dishes. They weren't rude, but they weren't friendly. At all. The vibe was very much "I'd rather be anywhere else" or "I'm too cool to help you". That was disappointing as we didn't really feel comfortable asking for anything. EX: tables do not have salt/pepper. I coulda used some for that mac n cheese... but I didn't feel like getting the courage to ask. And let me tell you, I am not a shy person... I would come back again and even dress a little nicer next time lol. But I will skip the drinks and focus on the extreme gluten-free-friendly atmosphere here and appreciate it. It was really nice for my friend not to have to ask 20 questions to get a basic meal. Very much appreciated.

An alluring, small-scale retreat to enjoy an array of enticing ciders and immersive board games, in a cool and cozy atmosphere.
Great location and tasty food and cider with excellent and helpful bartenders. We especially appreciated the accommodations for gluten and dairy allergies. We will definitely come back here next time we are in KC.

An applauded hangout that serves memorable, unique pizzas, with joyful owners making every visit a top-notch experience.
Gluten free heaven! Holy cow amazing! Very conscientious regarding gluten free. Lots of choices. Literally more than any pizza place I’ve been. Would highly recommend and would return if we weren’t in area visiting.

A smashing plate tradition with a warm, family-like atmosphere that transports you right to Greece.
Greek Belly has delicious Greek food, including many gluten free options. If you are dining in, I recommend putting in a reservation because it's a small place and always busy.
1700 Yacht Club Dr, Osage Beach, MO 65065, USA
A lively spot that's perfect for large groups with a vibe that leaves patrons captivated, despite some occasional service delays.
Our greatest discovery around the lake. They have several gluten free options for those with an allergy and the servers understand celiac. In one week I think we went 3 times, because of their food and the great service. On the water and great atmosphere. The bar area as expected is more busy and loud if you want a more quiet seat, there are options.

A vintage vibe, musical wonderland; it's not just a cafe, it's an unforgettable experience of nostalgic charm and vibrant positivity.
The owner is the real deal: authentic, welcoming of ALL, and eclectic in his tastes while also being authentically local, community driven, and planet, pooch, people, and plant-loving! Gluten free, vegan, dairy free options for those so-restricted...yet also serving grass-fed/finished meats, clean, organic vegetables, and 'junk' foods like Tater tots, air fryer fries, and nachos! Their soups are amazing, and their desserts worth ordering additional takeout of! Drinks like bloody Mary's, local red beers, AND Glutenberg as well as Kombuchas, and locally brewed sodas...it truly is a place where my entire family can find something they love while not having to worry about not having choices that meet varying dietary restrictions! We love us some Wolf!
4945 Daggett Ave, St. Louis, MO 63110, USA
A long-standing spot loved for well-priced drinks and unforgettable eats, with slight nostalgia for past extraordinary service.
If you are in St. Louis, this is a must stop. There is so much history in this building and so many customers who have been coming in almost from the beginning. The staff is super chill and the lunch specials are really ridiculously priced low for as much food as you get, they have the famous fish bowl beer and they’re building a new bar. They even have gluten-free crust for their pizza and they serve breakfast!! Can’t say how convenient that is on the Hill!
501 Clark Ave, St. Louis, MO 63102, USA
Expect a nap-worthy feast at this comfy spot, loved for its generous portions, outdoor seating, and the city’s best BBQ. Worth a second visit!
Food was spectacular! They have a gluten free menu. The waiter was able to answer all of our questions. Great place!

Renowned for its quirky 'dips', ideal for families and groups, this place ensures every visit is a unique culinary adventure worth every penny.
Went there for brunch. Make reservations, they are always busy. No good gluten-free options for brunch.
