Enjoy speedy service and great sorbet in this clean and cozy spot right in the heart of Rome, even if it might not totally feel like a restaurant.
Enough quantity, and gluten-free. Highly recommended.
Via Amiterno, 42-60, Rome, Italy
A hub in San Giovanni offering a vast menu, exceptional service, and affordable prices, known for attention to detail and an inviting atmosphere.
Historic restaurant, located in the San Giovanni area of Rome. I have a celiac wife and for about 20 years we have been going regularly to this place, where celiacs can eat with absolute peace of mind... even the pizza, which my wife thinks is excellent. Recommended appetizers: trio of supplì and burrata with chicory on bruschetta bread. A dignified amatriciana. But I go back especially for the meat... Danish, Angus etc. served on an oil stone which keeps it warm and with new potatoes. Two small flaws: the menu hasn't changed in a long time and the desserts aren't up to par with the rest. Michele is an excellent “ROOM COMMIS”; then there is the backbone, the legendary "Maitre di Sala" DAVID the Sardinian. He always recommends the right cut of Carme and always suggests excellent wines (not expensive... otherwise I would be good too😁) what can I say, super recommended. Via dei Serpenti, 165, Rome, Italy
Dreamy spot with budget-friendly options, admired for its extensive breakfast selection including a variety of vegan croissants.
Fantastic place! Delicious coffee and sandwiches. We got a juice, cappuccino, ham & cheese croissant, smoked salmon & avocado sandwich, and a gluten free ham & cheese sandwich. Cappuccino was exquisite and attention to detail with our coffee order. When we asked about gluten free options, the servers went out of their way to freshly bake gluten free buns and they put whatever I wanted in them. I'm still thinking about then to this day! Very accommodating despite how busy and hectic the place was, they took their time and were quite thorough.

I wish everywhere was as accommodating. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Rome that wants fantastic food with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Thank you SO much!

Best meal I had in Rome! My friends and I were staying in the area and stumbled upon it. I’m so glad we decided to go inside. The Staff was amazing, kind and super attentive. My friend is gluten free and they were very accommodating. They have both gluten free pizza and pasta. The drinks and the food were both amazing. Cannot recommend this place enough!
